Loved your use of Time Lapse. Also loved the shots at the end showing the before and after. This was a tremendous amount of work...and done by a two-man operation. You have really got a gem in the person of Timmy....reliable, trustworthy, great work ethic.
From green to yellow in one long easy step!! Has kept you busy for a week or two, handy being close to home too. For only two employees, you have a very good work rate 👍👍
Awesome Chris !! You guys Kicked that one right in the Ass !! Great to see the Pride you take not only in your work but, in your Machines as well, your one Hell of an Operator Chris, and Timmy is coming along too, you are teaching him well !!! Another Great one !! On to the Next......... Have a Great Evening Man......
Great job on the project, Chris! I watched it from day one to the end. Time lapse is for sure the right editing choice on big projects such as this one!!
I'm a retired electrical design/project manager that worked for a contractor. None of the projects I ever worked on had a site to final grade. It would be awesome to not be told what grade is, install conduits down 3-4' and have them dug up when it finally got to grade. You do very nice work that I am sure is very appreciated by the other trades. Respectfully, Kevin
I guess there are 2 things there is no shortage of in the greater Raleigh area.....money and rain. I'm amazed at how much goes into preparing these sites before any building gets started. Does it rain everyday ? You better keep diggin 😎
Chris, we’ve had that dang drizzle over here in Currituck county, last three days. Can’t get any soybeans picked! The project all came together just fine! Looks great bud!!
Don’t know about you Chris but I used to get more job satisfaction from keeping up with multiple tippers all day with a Blade than almost anything else in moving dirt? Especially if the blade was of the smaller variety like yours. You definitely sleep better after a shift like that that’s for sure 😁👍🏼. Terrific final finish as per usual and the drone footage is perfect for showing off the size of the undertaking. Love this channel keep up the great work you guys.
Skilled people always make everything look so easy. Looks like another fine job.! Dozer and grader work to me is artwork. If you try it you'll know. HaHa
In a few months I'd love for you to go back and show us the completed area with the concrete and buildings etc., that would be really cool. Even cooler if they contracted you for more work there.
I totally laughed out loud seeing the dozer wizzing backwards and forwards. Very clever editing as well, underlining how busy you are going to be. And yes, I posted this before finishing the video. [EDIT] I loved the before and after stills at the end. Anyone seeing those pictures out of the blue would probably have no idea how much work went into transforming the site from one state to the other, and I dread to think how much the work so far would have cost the developer. I'm guessing well into six figures, and I wouldn't fall off my chair if I was told seven figures. It's exciting for us Letsdig18 followers to get to the end of a big project because we wait, with tenterhooks, to see where Chris will go next. I'm hoping for that big site with the sink holes and deep deep pipework blocked with subsidence, but I have a feeling that job will be tied up with County red tape for months if not years.
Glen, I often think it's one and a half men at best. I had thought that Tim was getting his motivation back, but he is back to propping up the grade stick half the time. To be fair to the lad, I suspect he'd do better if Chris trusted him to do more.
@@TrevorDennis100 He does alright. He is just a cruiser but I have seen plenty of blokes over the years like that get plenty done are are reliable. I don't think Chris shows him in the best light sometimes and likes to snipe a bit.
Trev Dennis I would disagree with you on that item. Tim works for Chris and he does a fine job. Bear in mind you are watching a video that is not real time.
Trevor Dennis That’s a bit harsh, you can’t judge what he’s like from a 15 min video! With work like this there’s times that you need someone on the ground for certain parts of the job and then there’s bits where the machine will be working and won’t be much for the labourer to do. If he was as bad as you make out he wouldn’t have a job!
Yeah, like You, I believe the Blue Kenworth is a Super Sharp Truck... No mater WHAT trailer is on it... 4:15 😳😎👍✅. A long job it was but most definitely looks Great on the ending Drone shots from. 12:50. on comparing it to “Thee Beginning” 😱👍
Pretty Damn Cool! Beers are on me, Chris! Can I bring those beers and my truck over to your shop and we add about3" of lift, new suspension and some tires!? Figure we can burn my old ones, lol!
Hey Chris just curious on why not use belly dumps on a job like this instead of end dumps? Bellys just dump faster and more uniform and much easier to spread with motorgrader or dozer. Just curious on your thoughts, never seen any in your videos but on most of your jobs I know they wouldn't work very good but this job looked like they would've worked great.
We have the same grader and it comes in real handy on all the small jobs but after getting off the cat grader it the controls kick my butt for a few minutes
Your videos are improving noticeably. Sped up video of machinery working (thanks for avoiding hard rock music) and great drone shots. Keep up the great content. 2:40 opps, spoke to soon...
If it was going to be a high-rise then they'd dig a big hole for the footings. By the size of the car park, I am guessing it is some sort of shopping complex. It would be nice if Chris were to swing by the site when the job was finished, but I am not sure he'd be allowed to fly the drone at that stage.
You guys don’t know what goes into a job like that it takes a lot of time especially for two people and if he can do that job and how good he did it he can do anything he don’t need practice look at it perfection!!!
That is a huge parking lot. Lots of gravel. You guys make it look so nice. 👍☕️🍀
Loved your use of Time Lapse. Also loved the shots at the end showing the before and after. This was a tremendous amount of work...and done by a two-man operation. You have really got a gem in the person of Timmy....reliable, trustworthy, great work ethic.
Joe Gamba actually three- someone had to be running the drone separately
Drone footage looks like a RC video. Thanks for sharing.
From green to yellow in one long easy step!! Has kept you busy for a week or two, handy being close to home too. For only two employees, you have a very good work rate 👍👍
Great job! Great video also. I noticed the work on the neighbor's septic field.

I could watch your channel for 24 hours non stop. That's how much I love it.
A lot of work from raw land to finish product. I always felt good when the job was done and done well. Thanks Chris.
You guys did a great job. Glad to see that the local companies are staying busy.
Looks great!!! I hope they appreciate all the hard work. Like the drone shots and the time lapse! Keep up the good work.
love the time lapse . Keep it coming
That was some very fine drone flying and you did a fantastic job on that job and Tim did pretty good himself give them, and I enjoy them
The Drone footage of how big the job site was that you and Tim worked on is amazing.
Looks great ! Hope u have some pond jobs coming up soon ! Love me some pond videos !! Lol
Finally a little rain... has to be a relief to not eat dust all day!
Chris, nice job.
Great job on the project, Chris! I watched it from day one to the end. Time lapse is for sure the right editing choice on big projects such as this one!!
Good Job, Chris!
At least you guys got a drizzle. We ain't had rain here in over a month. Some cloudy days, but not a drop.
It's really nice to see how they manage to keep those trucks shining👌
Another Great well done project. Enjoyed following along . Great video
that classic "hold my beer" ending with the drone shots lmao!
No lot is to big no pond is to muddy call Chris he does it all.

Nice work, Chris. What a transformation from how it looked just a few weeks ago.
Tons of grading! Always feels good once the job is completed. I love operating most days haha.
Helluva project Chris. Fine job (as usual) and flat out moved some dirt!
Excellent work Chris, thank you.
I loved the time lapse of you working looks super cool
Nice job Chris & Tim, …….I liked the WRC dozer ;-)
Nice work, I know a big job like that must give you a sense of accomplishment and pride and if it doesn't, it should.
Thank you thank you thank you for doing time laps I really love that you started doing that
Chris,I have to say you really had me confused on this project, However it turned out amazing. Ron
Nice ending of the drone shots at the end with before and after. Thanks, Chris!
Crossroads in Pilot, NC. Right up the road from me.
Y’all did a great job, I know you’re glad to be done!!!!!!
I guess there are 2 things there is no shortage of in the greater Raleigh area.....money and rain. I'm amazed at how much goes into preparing these sites before any building gets started. Does it rain everyday ? You better keep diggin 😎
Love that job you done on the big site , Chris and Tim.
Great work!
Thanks for all the videos. 👍

I like the drone footage while you work. Thanks for helpin me get through the rona
A lot of nice equipment, you always do a mazing work
looks like the neighbor had to see the light and get a new septic - nice job
It’s not done until the burn pile is gone. Fire it up, big guy. 🔥 🔥
He seems to be getting the hang of this type of work. Few more years and he will be able to make a living at it. ;)
he has had a little practice.
It appears he is making a living now.
I hope you do a quick drive-by when the pads and then buildings are finished so we can see the end result of your work!
Great job as always @letsdig18 you guys do amazing work and helps motivate my guys everyday. Thanks for the great videos and knowledge.
Man I love that little motor grader.
Chris you do Excellent work ! Job looks great.
I"m sure ya"ll are glade to be finishing up. Looks great , good job. go pick the check up and head to another!
Skilled people always make everything look so easy. Looks like another fine job.! Dozer and grader work to me is artwork. If you try it you'll know. HaHa
YEAH like laying brick real easy till you try it.
That Kenworth W900 is gorgeous! I want to drive it!
In a few months I'd love for you to go back and show us the completed area with the concrete and buildings etc., that would be really cool. Even cooler if they contracted you for more work there.
Very nice job again Chris, looks amazing 👌👍
Nice job. I really liked the drone footage, especially the before and after shot.

I know the feeling of not wanting any trucks on it, looks to Pretty to mess up, good job.
Dwayne
That is a lot of work for a two man crew. Looks good.

Your equipment is gonna need a major powerwashing after this job. The dust chokes me just watching. 😂
Perfection! Thanks for all the great video's! All the best from The Netherlands :)
That kenworth with the end dump is a beautiful rig

Baby Komatsu looks like fun. I watch these vids and think "I'd like to have a go at that ..."
Loved those Ariel views of you chasing down the truck but all in all loved it from start to finish
I think you've used that grader more this year than you ever had!!!
Great job as always.👏🏻👏🏻🇨🇦🇺🇸
Thanks for some time lapse on the dozer.
As always a good job well done👍💪
Great action with the drone
Damn fine job with the editing and time lapse etc. 👍 🇬🇧
Two minutes of time lapse is sooo much better than 10 minutes of normal speed dozed work.
We have the same grader and it comes in real handy on all the small jobs but after getting off the cat grader it the controls kick my butt for a few minutes
Always have to have excellent metal riffs to work by
Starting at 2:35 mark, The one tune reminds me of Mike Morales youtube channel.
Looks like it's a set up for mini storage building.
Excellent job 👍👍

Finally a dozer timelapse 🙌🙌
Me thinks someone spent a very tall stack of quarters on this one. Mini storage did you say?
Awesome drone footage!
Fine Job you would think with all the work you put in to that ground that they were going to put a sky scraper there !
If it was going to be a high-rise then they'd dig a big hole for the footings. By the size of the car park, I am guessing it is some sort of shopping complex. @@TrevorDennis100 I Agree i often wanted to see the final build with the structures after all said and down.
It’s going to be a storage unit complex
@@TrevorDennis100 Don't ask the question if you can't stand the answer. Fly it now and apologize later.
Very nice job guys when is the fire I have the hotdogs ready 🔥🤣👍👍
Great job Chris. PERFECT .
I know you are glad to be done with it great video Chris
Looking good great drone shots
Good job with the time lapse and editing keep it up !!
Awesome job on this project!
nice work as always , love the background music , rock on .....
Nice job on the editing, now it's time to ask Tim if he is ready for his close up, Mr. DeVille :)
the aerial gives a good perspective of just how big that job was
Nice!!!!(great aerials!!!)
Nice work! I see someone is stepping up their editing game 😁👍🏻
Awesome job Chris !!!
I would love to have some one show us how a asphalt plant works
Any idea when they are going to build on the site
That's a beautiful job to be proud of.
Looks like the neighbors got a new septic system
What kind of material ate you hauling in that you didnt have on site?
You guys don’t know what goes into a job like that it takes a lot of time especially for two people and if he can do that job and how good he did it he can do anything he don’t need practice look at it perfection!!!
Great job! But what about the pile of dirt and the brush pile?
I think the pile of dirt is stock pile top soil and Chris is waiting for a bit of rain so they can burn the brush pile. 👍
