Thanks for the reaction video man!
Glad you liked our stuff!
❤️
Dude, thank you so much for dropping in and checking it out! Keep doing what you guys do! Your music and message is fantastic!
@@TankTheTech .... If you're someone who value Music with Message, then Bloodywood is just for you.
Please check out their YAAD or JEE VEEREY. You might enjoy ARI ARI or ENDURANT too.
@Jayant Bhadula still waiting for your reaction to my DM ha...ha ..ha
@@TankTheTech thanks man! You too!
@@dinakaraghebbar6695 hahaha bro resend, I'm sure it got lost in translation :p
Ari Ari is a must. You won't regret it. We LOVE Bloodywood. We really enjoy your channel too.
Awwww! Thanks for stopping by! Love what you two are doing on your channel
Love my G-Ma, but she’d never be open to checking out the music you are! Hahaha! I’ll check out Ari Ari for sure!
@@TankTheTech Thank you. Ari Ari is gonna blow you away. Looking forward to it. You're so passionate about music, we love that about you.
YES!!!! Ari Ari is feckin' great!
Holy shite with a shout-out from 2RG's!!!!! 💯♥️👍👍👍
@@TankTheTech you just got adopted xD
Metal, truly a music genre which includes bands and artists pushing the boundaries, challenging stereotypes, advocating and demonstrating diversity and how showing how different cultures and artistic interpretations can be valid.
You have to watch the documentary about their origins and the first world tour..it shows their heart even more, they really deserve all the success they're having. You can find it on UA-cam.
That’s the Raj against the machine one, right?
@@TankTheTech exactly that one! It's one hour and a half long, but it's time well spent for a music lover..
In the description for the music video version of this song they say that they were commissioned to write it for the videogame Beyond Good and Evil 2 by Ubisoft. Ubisoft ended up not using the song, but the band liked it so much they kept it.
So this video is from Wacken 2019, which was a few weeks after their first ever show outside of India at the Dong Open Air (Germany). I was there at the DOA and we all had a blast at their gig; even though (presumeably) noone ever heard them live before they got a very warm welcome.
Saw them live at Wacken 2019 and just now, 2023, a few weeks back in Frankfurt. They optimized their stage performance quite a bit, playing with the audience, eventually celebrating the event together. And that is a soft-factor here, which should not be underestimated: They really interact with the fans, they never lost contact with their base. As for the musical relations: I hear quite a bit of Clawfinger there...
I was at that show at wacken and let me tell you, they blew the roof of that tent! Also there were 15000 people in that tent, which is pretty crazy as they have only played for much smaller crowds until then. They also released a documentary about their (first ever) tour that this show was a part of, highly recommend it :)
Definitiv. Vor allem weil sie generell vor Wacken erst ein paar Mal zsm gespielt haben, die waren mein absolutes Highlight 🤘
Wish I had been there. Cause that sound is FIRE.
Reminds me of me going to a Five finger death punch concert that Papa roach was going to be the opening act. A terrorist attack happened in France happened and they chickened out. At the concert "Skindred" was opening. Never heard of them. They had 10,000 of us hooked halfway through their first song. Big fan now.
I believe they opened up with "Kill the power", which is an amazing fusion track. Rap, metal, with Afrocaribbean tones
@@vaazig you sure that wasn't Skindred?^^
i was at the concert. that was f..... Great. my wacken-buddy accepted me with it. I didn't know the band until then. whenever i see the video i get goosebumps
Jayant Bhadula has some of the best growls I've heard in a very long time and the trend in recent years for folk instruments finding there way into the metal scene is just fantastic leading to a true diversity of sounds. Hope the trend continues and we continue to see and hear more and more.
Dear Christ! Finally someone reacted to Bloodywood! I hope you check out more.
I know! I spam reaction channels all the time to see Bloodywood. LOL
I consider myself a one-woman American army trying to recruit Bloodywood fans. I figure the more fans I rack up, the more likely they will be able to come to the states after this quarantine is over. 🤘😁
Love Bloodywood! I saw them last year in a small basementclub in germany, and the room exploded!
The energy was insane and it was the first concert where I learned to let really loose- they changed my way of experiencing concerts.
I sadly missed them in Wacken and I dearly hope that I can see them again.
Yay! Bloodywood!
I found these guys a while back, promptly subbed, and it sent me on a fun UA-cam rabbit hole discovering metal from all over the world. One of the best music journeys ever.
Metal speaks all languages. Metal knows no borders. Metal is for All People!
saw them in a little club in Hanover Germany a little after this show, and from the first to the last second those guys were killing it - they are so pumped up with energy it was one of the best concerts i had the joy of seeing in a looooong time =D I second their other songs YAAD, JEE VEEREY and ARI ARI - absolutely awesome =D
YESSS TANK! I was pumped to hear you were doing the live version in Discord. So glad you like them!!
You gotta do either "Yaad" (I think their best work) or "Jee Veerey" (it's got a tin whistle 😉). Both of those songs have a slightly different sound than this and they're powerful.
If you want more of Machi Basad type sound, "Ari Ari".
I've never really been interested in how the sound is created until I came across "Tank Facts." My first time hearing this group, loved it! Also my first time listening to a reaction video of an unknown band. Love your channel.
Thanks a ton, man!
I had the big luck to be there. Man, even the video gives me goosebumps. They ripped the tent apart and provided us a really good time! The tent stage at W:O:A always is magic!
F****** love Bloodywood 😁🤘❤ i was so hyped when they were announced for Wacken, and their Show was one of my Highlights. Especially because before Wacken they played only a couple Time together live as a Band, very impressive
Yes! Finally!! They are so awesome, true good musicians, working hard artists, and great human beings. Ari Ari is my favourite, but Machi basaad is definitely a 10, saw their documentary about 3 weeks ago and fell in love with them in every way, watch it if yo can.
Love their music because they can change my mood truly when one of their songs starts, I feel their music in all my body, and that's a sign for me. I enjoy them so much. Great reaction, thank you!
I was in the audience at this day in Wacken when it was recorded. It got addicted. Some strange tone of Clawfinger if you ask me. Great vocals (both) and awesome badass bass.
I have a feeling that their next album (if done properly) could be this generations "roots" the potential is sky high for them. A great producer could make them legends.
Holy crap you did my reccomendation!
See! I listen to people! Hahaha
@@TankTheTech yay! I recommend Ari Ari or Endurant for more Bloodywood
Also...does this mean Amaranthe is on the list? XD seriously though their new single Archangel is epic
They are, yes!
They are about to drop their new album! We need more of this band on this channel!! Much love man!
Check out the new one on their channel!! It’s amazing!!
I knew you'd love 'em when I recommended them a month or 2 ago!! Not surprised you chose a live performance, but check out Yaad - which is imho their best work composition wise.
EDIT: knowing these guys, Jayant (singer) might drop in the comments to show his appreciation.. they're just that nice!
Basic Tank ending quote number one. 'Wish I had done that sooner'...
This is the perfect example of a band I wouldn't necessarily listen to on a regular basis, but would have a freaking blast seeing live
They reminded me of the intensity of “Arise” era Scepultura, but all in their own category of sound. Amazing stuff!
Yes! So excited for this. Haven’t heard them live before, but their music videos are so entertaining
Oh, you HAVE to check out their documentary on UA-cam. You will LOVE it!!
@@AGDinCA absolutely! Especially because i have learned that they only played a couple times together before their Tour. Very impressive!
Я в восторге от Bloodiwood !!! Красавцы! Сочетание двух стилей дополняет друг друга. Неповторимое сочетание, дополненное индийскими мелодиями. Супер!
Россия, Республика Башкортостан.
So inspired by RATM they called their tour Raj Against the Machine. Hot band. Folk metal is the truth.
Glad to see Bloodywood get some recognition. They really do kick ass and they have fun with it. Can't wait to see you do another reaction of them.
BLOODYWOOD!!! Always a great choice! One of my absolute favourite bands and SO worth supporting! The music videos are absolutely worth checking out but remember to always watch them to the end!
One of my favourite things about these dudes is they toured in 2019 and called it the Raj Against the Machine tour.
I was in front row.. It was a blast.. They burned down the tent man :D
Make sure to check out their performance in Wacken for 'Ari Ari'!
Great reaction, Bloodywood is absolutely amazing!!!
Yeah, that guitar tone! 👌🏻🔥 definitely getting some Sepultura vibes with their percussionist. Good stuff!
Sooo happy you did one of their songs!!! I discovered them awhile ago and have loved them ever since 🖤🤘🏻
yes!! SICK!!! Saw their original video to this song on 2 rocking grannies but hadnt seem them live til this video. They are amazing!!! I really like them.
While I’m not heavy into metal (I do have some songs I enjoy, but usually go for ‘regular’ rock), but I am impressed how well metal crosses cultures. India, Africa, Mongolia, etc, and each gives the genre their own flavor.
O-M-G I am loving this. Never heard of them before and this is my first listen. Yes!!!
At last! So excited for this one!
Tank, If you do more bloodywood reactions i suggest also checking out the music videos along side any live cuts you find. the lyrical content of their original pieces is amazing. especially yaad, jee verrey and endurant. so having the subtitles there is really great as far as truly understanding the songs as well as them as people.
Just discovered them. Holy hell, their energy is something else!
It reminds my reaction when i heard that song first time live ... its even better than studio version ... incredible ¡¡¡¡
didn´t know them. so awesome! great band! I instantly hit repeat. metal connects the world. thanks to you, tank and everybody, who recommended this. .
a personal recommendation and request: a song from Nightwish, written by a p*ssed off tuomas and sung by an angry marco: "master passion greed" their heaviest one. don´t try to find a live version.
I've been on a Bloodywood marathon today. (raging against a failing real estate sale... so bleedin mad right now.)
I had no idea you viewed the live-version for your first Bloodywood.
They had those unsuspecting folks bouncing like a little piece of Buenos Aires.
Fast forward to today, and I'm trying to figure out how to get my backside to Bakersfield for their show this Oct 10th.
No way I can afford to drive that far, and flying is out due to small airport/many plane-switches..
I may have 6 tickets for sale, dammit. The 2020's have it in for me.
As always, love your stuff, Ian.
Bloodywood is awesome! I love not only their sound but _what_ they sing about. If you don't move/headbang to them your ears aren't working, lol. Check out Avatar pretty please!
This iis a band you seriously have to watch the music video for (sometimes they sing in hindi and it's subtitled which gives another +50% to the already great song) Gonna recommend Jee Veerey, I still get goosebumps just thinking of that song! Seriously man, go watch that or Endurant, both are deep, meaningful, and powerful songs!
YES!!!! Bloodywood! All of their tracks are amazing, Ari Ari for it's drive, JeeVeerey for it's message, just such an awesome band!
Bands like this continue to surprise me. I was like "Surely this one has to be gimmicky and I won't like it." Nope, instant playlist addition
Love the TFN over the end comments. 🤘
You still need to get to Toehider. :-)
LET'S GO! 🔥
As allways a pleasure to see your reactions. Bloodywood ist fantastic! Greetz from Germany.
I'm so happy to now know they are loved around the love wish I can see they live one day.
Oh boy, you did Bloodywood!
I cannot remember exactly how I first learned about them, probably a UA-cam recommendation a few years ago, but I love their original songs! To be frank, I didn't like that live performance very much because of the bad audio quality - although I totally get that that isn't the main reason why people see bands live. For me, the live experience is not as important as clearly understanding the lyrics and the message, which are the main reasons I listen to most of the music I listen to, and Bloodywood have absolutely amazing lyrics and messages! It really feels like every original song they make is important to them. Also, the mix between the "normal" metal sounds and traditional Indian instruments is awesome!
If you haven't already, you should listen to their other songs, I like Endurant very much (it also has a very touching music video IMO). Perhaps even react to them :)
That was great!!! I just watched their documentary on their UA-cam channel, maybe you should check that out. Their song "Yaad" is amazing and always brings me to tears because of the beautiful message 🐕🐕🐕 and the work they do
A man loves you for all the amazing facts in your videos! *That* is _dedication_ to your channel! well done!
🤘🤘🤘
Bloodywood tends to be pretty active in the community so I wouldn't be surprised if they see this video sometime soon. For something more folky, I'd suggest you check out "Jee Veerey" from them!
Thanks for introducing this band for me. I used to dance oriental (belly dance), so I like to listen also bollywood and oriental music. So I like also this one. I spend the rest of the drive to work and working time listening Bloodywood. They also have cover versions of Backstreet Boys - Everybody and Nirvana - Smells like teens spirit. Recognisible immediately.
From some points I got a flashback a band "Cock and Ball Torture (which I can't listen even that I know my dear ex-boss is playing in it).
You should check out their videos to fully grasp what they are about. I strongly recommend "Endurant", in my opinion their most complete song that has everything you need to know about them. Can't go wrong with "Jee Veerey" of course (but everyone reacts to it, and I have to admit that I'm not huge fan of the rap vocals).
For your personal pleasure I also recommend that you watch their "Raj Against the Machine" documentary about their first tour outside of India..
I'm glad to see someone else who shares my love of Endurant. It's my personal favourite. In fact, I'll be getting tattooed with some of the lyrics in about 28 hours!
Loving this hard! ♥️ great music
If you haven't heard tunak tunak tun before, you should do a back to back reaction of the original and and then bloodywood's cover.
I fucking love BOTH versions. I dont think I've ever seen anyone as happy as the guy singing the original Lol. And Tunak Tunak Tun was the very first time I ever heard Bloodywood.
Recently discovered these guys and I think their sound is awesome (could do without the nu metal rap tho). Next up give their video "Ari Ari" a shot, it's a banger of a song and the video is a blast. Great reaction bro 🤘
Love the sound of the smaller drum added to the mix. Not something I'd listen to again, but I can see how people who aren't repulsed by these vocals would dig the hell out of this.
They are amazing. Have you checked out Alien Weaponry from New Zealand? They sing in their native Maori. You'll love them 🤘🏻🇬🇧🖤
I've only checked out Kai Tangata so far but loved it!
Somehow I’m a little late to the party. Just started watching you today I was a little iffy on the Babymetal start but you quickly won me over but this has you now in my top 3 reactors. Been a Patreon member of the band for a while and to have these guys do this was amazing🐤🐤. Thanks to Covid I did not get to see them at Sonic Temple but hopefully we will all be back to live music soon.
Awesome job!
Thanks a ton!
Great reaction. Got to their video finally. Their video songs will give even more feel!
I'd deffo recommend checking out more of their stuff, especially their latest track Gaddaar.. It doesn't fuck about! :)
What up Tank, been a while! This is my new favorite band!!!
You have an infectious headbang! Every time I find myself headbangin with you.
That crowd was INSANE! Glad to see branching out into other folk metal bands. You need to check out Orphaned Land, Israeli metal band. All is One or Sapari
Dead By April - Warrior
Amaranthe - GG6
Backyard Babies - Minus Celsius
These dudes are super talented! Been a fan since 2016, you gotta check out their cover of APPLE PEN! It's so brutal!!
Check out on their documentary, "Raj Against the Machine". You won't regret.
Very cool! I didn't know them, but I really liked it! Thanks for showing them!
I'm still hoping for Avantasia *fingers crossed* 😉
My favorite new band!! Thank you for the reaction video!!
My favorite song from them is Ari Ari x3. Glad you went for bloodywood :D! Also I want to recommend Mustasch - Lawbreaker, a Swedish metal band.
Aw, yeah! I subbed to you today, and I discover you just did a Bloodywood react? Life cannot be bad. 😁
🤘🤘🤘
Thumbs up for Sepultura in the beginning 👍 I might get a flak for this but that small bit at 6:58 - 7:02 reminds me of BMTH Parasite Eve.
Marilyn Manson just dropped a new video an hour ago...just heads up for ya.
"this is Sikh" yeah in know what you did there! xD
Hahahaha. Honestly didn't intend on that, but I'll take it. haha
oh, man..you got mw with Sepultura as intro music!!!
Honestly, I'm not sure they have a bad original song, but my favourites would have to be Endurant and Jee Veray, highly recommend either one!
That was definitely surprising XD And a great gear breakdown!
That refrain is amazingly sung. That goes on the playlist!
And since i harrdly understand lyrics...all i understand is something like "do the hokey pokey" XD (i know its hindi but...thats what i mishear it as ^^)
As i see whats comming next i knew Tank will LOVE this *lol* i am not realy a fan of Metal with Rap in it but this song blows your brain out and the only thing you can do is moshing your head off. You should also see the official Video of this song ist a real funny thing.
Tank the Tech...some friends ask me why I watch reaction videos..growing up in India in the 80s and hooked onto bands like mettalica and judas priest, it was a challenge to know more about and explore heavy metal as none of my friends and family were into western music let alone heavy metal...40 years later reaction videos let me feel.like I am watching and listening to my favorite music with my friends..when you started headbanging , I joined you and may daughter thought I had gone crazy 🤪
I don't understand this. Going from classic rock to this. This is f*cking fantastic!!! Besides Nightwish and Aryuon this is my favorite band. I have to buy their music. Great!!!!!!
The best heavy metal rock from India so iconnic thanks bro .best reaction ever from you .love u bro🤘🤘💪😀
I thing this is my favorite video haha you liked so much ! (me too by the way, great discovery)
I love everything about this 😍😍😍
If you wanna see something totally tongue-in-cheek, check out Tunak Tunak Tun from, the same band
wait, Bloodywood covered that old Daler Mehndi song? My friends and I would randomly bust out the music video dance at inappropriate times in high school.
Epic! 😆
@@ardillamente They started as a joke band that did covers of shitty pop songs
@@ardillamente it's glorious!
@@ardillamente its worth it for the video alone, not to mention its a great cover too
As a metal-head myself I gotta recommend a band for you.
"A sound of Thunder"
I took a look through your reactions and was sad to see them go unmentioned! Check out their song "It was metal" or "Udoroth" really good songs with a kickass female vocalist! They've done songs that go along with a little story before, i think even a comic book, they're one of my all time favorites.
I guess Kali is very pleased to hear these guys :)
Nice, TFN in the background at the end. Thinking about getting a Shuriken.
Oh, you should! I got one of the Sr270s and it is my FAVOURITE guitar by far. So fucking versatile. I use it to track EVERYTHING nowadays. I would recommend pairing it with a Helix though for full customisation potential. I have that setup so I can change tunings and guitar sounds mid-song, it's great.
I've been listening to these guys for almost a year!!! My grandson loves this band. And he's seven years old!! You should check out their cover videos, they remake these songs, their way you'd love it! I bands from many diffrent countries. Do you know about Hammerfall from Sweden? Their song Dominion is really r&r. Really sic.
I’ve heard Hammerfall before, but not a ton.
Bro, I was at that that show and it was sick!
Jee veerey is an absolute must of them. It’s a Song that deals with depression and mental illness
I started out with them a few years ago. They did some awsome covers. Check out their metal versions of Shape of You and Look What You Made Me Do.
Thanks Tank that was great, just picked me up and carried me off.....
Dude, i've got a couple badass suggestions for you that I think you're gonna LOVE. I've asked Chase to react to them as well, hopefully I can get my two fave youtubers to do some of these!! Blind Ivy- Apogee, Godless, or Embryo Hatred. Irony Of Fate- Six Feet Deep, Oceans Of Doom. The Agonist - In Vertigo!
Loved this, my first aswell. Still need to check out Avatar, Hail the apocalypse preferable live since the band puts on one helluva show.
