DIY Dollar Tree Glam New Years Buffet Trays & Stands

- I put together 4 Glam Buffet stands and trays for my New Years Winter Wonderland Buffet table. All of the supplied used was from the Dollar Tree.

Supplies:
LARGE ROUND ELEVATED TRAY -
-large silver tray
-4 silver ornament balls
-4 small plastic containers for feet
-hot glue
2 TIER GLAM STAND-
-2 8.5" x 11" mirrors
-1 round glass vase
-silver star bow & silver tinsel
-diamond wrap ribbon
-hot glue
3 TIER GLASS STAND
-3 rectangular glass trays
-2 glass candlesticks
-super glue
SNOWFLAKE TRAY WITH REINDEER HOLDERS
-11"x 14" mirror
-single sequin strand ribbon
-2 silver snowflake ornaments
-4 silver ceramic reindeer
-hot glue

Quick tip: when adding another glue stick to your glue gun, put a small dollop of hot glue to one end of glue stick and insert into glue gun. This keeps the glue stick from popping out when you squeeze the trigger.

I think that the reindeer tray would be cute with led candles in different heights and the mirror would make the light sparkle!!!!!
Just a tip on your tiered stands, if you turn the glass candle holder upside down, it takes up less space on your tray, making more room for treats or snacks on the trays. :)

Yup! Exactly! I did this and used E-6000 glue. That stuff even withstands the dishwasher. But I also sanded the candle holders on the edges too for a better grip
These ideas are great and you can often get real silver plated round trays from thrift stores for a couple of dollars each, I think it would look a little better with the ball ornament feet just because it has a super silver shine.
Yup, great idea... Over the years, I have been lucky enough to find several silver plated and even real silver trays and pitchers and Goodwill. ☺️

Mine doesn't, Nyesha, but they do have those plastic silver ones with the "engraved" designs on them that might work well.
Another tip use glue dots. They hold everything in place; however, you can reposition them and you can remove them for easier disassembling/storing.

Great projects....for that 3 tier stand I would invert the candlestick holders so that there is more usable space on the tray. Thanks for sharing

These are great ideas, for the mirrored stand idea, so that each corner looks neat with the trim that you used don't cut the trim into strips. Take one piece all of the way around to the center and join it in the middle. It will give closure to the corners and look very finished.

wow thank you so much for this video! my sister just decided that the theme of her quinceanera will be winter wonderland, so we will be using a lot of silver and snowflakes. dessert trays can be extremely expensive but you made some beautiful and super affordable creations that I definitely will be using, thank you!

I love making these trays I have 3 layer that sits in my makeup table I put my jewelry on it ,and if you use the all glass tray they do look expensive and classy but without the high price tag.thank you for sharing your ideas.

My alternative..flip candlesticks on 3 tier for more surface space!!! And on reindeer mirror...using the reindeer for the handles!!!! This is why I love these videos...everybody has amazing ideas!!!!!!

You should have put glue on the exterior of the small cylindrical containers ("feet") and coated them in silver glitter to match the ornaments. You could have placed a little velvet circle on the bottom of the cylindrical container to protect your tabletop.
Just a thought... :-)
Edit: For the mirror try "feet", you can fill those containers with bling stones (crystal or acrylic crystals) for an additional embellishment.
