It’s more about post processing routine, than about camera itself. Obviously, Samsung made a very good jab in terms of post processes, that’s why photos from S20 look so impressed. And for poin-and-shoot mode, S20 - absolutely winner in that competition. But if you can spend 2-3 minutes to correct white balance, saturation and sharpness in any photo editing program, V60 can really impress you. I think for better result camera’s software must offer several post-processing samples for every photo when, for example, you view it for the first time. In that case everybody will able to choose photo based on it’s oven preference, and not stick with camera default settings.
You failed to say how saturated the S20+ photos are compared to the more natural colors of the V60. Also, Samsung has a bit of oversharpening which again you failed to notice. As for video, you should have tried to show videos taken with the manual mode on the V60 to check whether the saturation is the same as in Auto mode. The S20+ clearly has an advantage in image processing, but that doesn't mean it's the winner.
Yep. This phones meant more for content creators, audiophiles, and that sort of niche, not the average consumer. Manual mode on LG's phones is just far better with so many options. Wish more youtubers would actually discuss that part of it and give them more screen time instead of just dismissing it as mediocre because they don't understand the point of the phone. Danny does acknowledge it's capabilities with the 8K video he did a few days ago but yeah...

Just the manual mode and using it as a teaching tool and having the ability for new users to use auto correction when your setting get out of whack. Frustrating on the Note 10. but isn't the LG V series generally geared more towards media enthusiasts (obviously anyone can buy the phone)? The flat profile for the video/photos is really quite helpful for custom color correction and those enthusiasts that know how to do such. Not a knock to Samsung since it's out of the box photos are nice, but the LG V series offers greater flexibility to those that know how to use it rather than just out of the box point and shooting. and thankfully the LG still has a headphone jack

I think the S20 is a better buy than both since it's 200$ cheaper than the S20+, and it has the same camera that simply beats the V60's camera in each and every aspect.

Its his opinion..... you cant call him being biased
Hes not biased. The V60's images look flat and dull, and theres no telephoto to be found.
Hes not bias at all. The V60 have the worst photos I've seen from a flagship in years.
@@carver9312 did u sprain ur back reaching like that? Neither cameras are bad tf. If u want more camera features and control LG. Better auto experience Samsung. Thank you for uploading, I'm considering the V60 for videos and camera purposes. Who else could I trust more for a fair comparison other then you. TY 🖤
LOL his face looked red in the opening video dude what natural colors 🤣

But for the avg user that wont check out that 8k video they will see this and just become another Samsung Stan
@@andrewi559 I agree, I just wish they wouldn't pan something they truly do not understand. There are other issues with Samsung as a Owner of a Note 10 plus switching back to LG V60 I can tell you renaming pics on certain pics is a pain in the ass. On LG everything is on the Hamburger menu clear and easy to get too.
Just the manual mode and using it as a teaching tool and having the ability for new users to use auto correction when your setting get out of whack. Frustrating on the Note 10. In auto Samsung is great move beyond or try to listen to music or even use Bluetooth and you easily get angry.
@@DivisionStreetDrums Agreed. I cant stand wireless audio. I have a pair of Galaxy Buds and they're just awful. Im not an "audiophile" but I do have some higher standards for audio I guess. I have an S8 right now, I was gonna get the V60 but its way too big for me. Wish they had a smaller version.
Full manual mode for both photo and video taking for less than $1000 bucks.
Not to mention dual screen multi-tasking, Quad DAC and the headphone jack.
UA-camrs should get off their Samsung and iPhone high horses.
LG V60 all day, for the price. Then, I am just going to install GCam on it. Samsung S20's will then be killed. 😂😂😂
I had the 7pro and installed the GCAM. It helped a lot. I have the Pixel 4 xl now, considering switching to the v60 for the battery. What do you think?
Wrong the gcam doesn't fix all camera issues. The lg got destroyed
LG looks so washed out and boring, no wonder samsung cameras always win blind tests, pictures straight from the camera look so eye catching
@@tristenwilliams558 The S20+ might of have looked better, but I still choose to buy LG because both are pretty much the same, and LG is cheaper
Its almost a foldable and V60 accepts pens! And it has DEX mode too! Audio jack is very important to use a mic to broadcast to UA-cam and charge the smartphone at the same time during long conferences!
Its not a foldable thats a gimmick lol and its version of Samsung dex it cant compete
LG V60 for me, especially because of the price. Might upgrade from my V20.
Well that price is just shit, it's better to get that phone one year later
I'm possibly reconsidering my decision to buy the V60 😭 which one has the less bloatware? (or which one allows you to actually disable or unistall it?) And yes, Bixby apps in the background are bloatware
LG's whole software is bloatware
LG software is literally bloatware
Thanks for the replies 😀 seems like Sammy is gaining ground... But what about all the Bixby related stuff that runs in background? Or duplicate apps? Or the possibility to disable bloatware apps?
You also have to consider Software updates, LG is not very good at that, they never were, for example, I had an lg g4, and in my country, it got stuck on android 6.0.
Samsung is better at software updates than lg basically.
Wait for OnePlus 8 pro no blotwer, guaranteed updates and the price is the same or a little less
The best feature for LG phones are manual setting of camera and video you should explore it..... It's way better than any other phone's manual settings

I'll admit,I'm an avid photo editor. It's one of my main hobbies I've kept over the years, but if I wasn't I'd prefer the s20s shots. The v60 offers alot more versatility for creative editing but if you just wanna take a shot and throw it on social media, probably s20.

@@mauricedicke9527 no the s20 colours are one of the lost natural
but isn't the LG V series generally geared more towards media enthusiasts (obviously anyone can buy the phone)? The flat profile for the video/photos is really quite helpful for custom color correction and those enthusiasts that know how to do such. Not a knock to Samsung since it's out of the box photos are nice, but the LG V series offers greater flexibility to those that know how to use it rather than just out of the box point and shooting. and thankfully the LG still has a headphone jack

Dan I love your cellphone comparisons and your videos helped so much in making a decision to get a great phone w/ an amazing camera this year. I was rocking the OnePlus 7 Pro and had a few LG V Series phones prior (V20 & V40), but I've always felt the cameras were lacking no matter what phone I got, even though I was able to get some decent shots. But after looking at your presentations and your excitement of the S20 Plus, I decided to get one...and at $400 at that! There are so many deals now for the S20 series phones if you look around (since newer models are out now) and this camera comparison shows how amazing the S20 Plus is. Some of those night shots had such great colors, tones, contrasts, and lighting versus the V60 just looking a bit too green across the whole photo. S20 Plus for me!
