@@boulevard14he has gotten frustrated a few times, but he always maintains a sense of humor. He’s actually raised his voice to Danielle in at least one video. But I think it’s more a natural thing that happens sometimes when family members disagree. I don’t necessarily think that it’s all frustration from the dementia. So for the most part, I agree with you. He definitely is a very kind & loving guy who is always concerned about his family…he wants them safe, happy, healthy & wealthy! ☺️🤭

My mother had dementia and it was so hard on my dad. He felt such a strong responsibility to care for her…but his health is fragile. My mom passed a few months ago…and despite the grief he experiences, it is very noticeable that he has the burden of her care off his shoulders. I lived with them for a few years…and then they moved to a home. We were hoping it would take pressure off my dad, but it didn’t. My mom wasn’t as positive as Ed is. She was in a constant state of discontent. My dad (and I) would try so hard. She simply wanted things her way. There were good moments in-between and these videos help me remember those.

I love the way u answer his repeated questions.. Living with people who have dementia is a challenge. My dad too suffered from the same sickness but my brothers were negligence. I a daughter who was doing my program at the University and have to deal with him all the times..I would bath him, change his clothes prepare him food and head off to school leaving him with my mom.

Dan Sir, you are everything a parent could wish for. The love, patience and respect you have for your dad is amazing.. Many today sends their parents to The Homes without thinking twice because they don't want to take care or be burdened by their elderly parents. God bless you Sir. I pray your kids learn from you 🙏 ❤🇿🇦

It's also hard to watch a parent you have adorned for many years pass through dementia. I can remember by dad almost to tears when his father would forget name.

@@cco7174 I don't think it's hard at all ( personally). Remember our parents raised us and had hard and good times too. They suffered when we suffered. So, it's a blessing to be able to give back the same love, attention and patience to our parents.
I took carried my mom in my arms in and out of hospital like a baby. If there would another chance to do that all over again, I would without thinking twice.
She passed away infront of me. And I thank God everyday for allowing me to give back what she gave me all those years.
      🙏🙏❤ that's just me.
