Finale to William Tell Overture, by Gioachino Rossini, arranged for brass quintet. This is really hard.

Trumpet one is easy, first you just fire up the good 'ol air compressor...
Combined with the fast tonguing and all the sharps I would definitely die doing this.

its easy to tell you guys arent experienced musicians, at least not on a brass instrument. Pretty much neither trumpet part gets a chance to breathe, and everyone knows playing staccato 8ths and 16ths over and over at pianissimo is pretty much the hardest thing you can do on a brass instrument, let alone on high notes.
xskv I agree with you, this is very hard and some parts are almost impossible. But not being able to breathe isn't to much of a problem since anyone trying to play this will most definitely know how to circular breathe

The trumpet 1 part is easy if you can go 3 minutes without a breath. I honestly don't mind playing in sharps. Flats are harder for me to play in, I can do both but sharps just naturally come easier for me. This is a beast of a piece of music. Props to whoever can play it, lots of hate to whoever wrote it without thinking if the players

I gave this sheet Music to a group of friends of mine that had a brass quintet, after playing this, they all die, the autopsy says, sofocation and brain colapse.

Wouter10123 they're actually quite easy, I can play about 90% of this song, and this is only my 4th year playing. The only issue is, i can't circular breathe, which is needed especially in this piece.

I've been watching a couple of your arrangements. They sound nice, but often times, they aren't very practical for actually playing them unless the Quintet consists of absolute professionals on the Trumpet or the Horn. I suggest getting a bit more familiar with the comfortable ranges of the instruments and regarding Billy Tell, I'd use less sharps. As someone else has pointed on another video, it does look like a pianist arranged it for Brass Quintet. As someone who plays both the Piano and the Trumpet, I can relate to that.

It's more of a transcription than an arrangement. That's why it's so hard; I think it's more for listening to than playing

it would take a minor act of god for a trumpet to do this lmfao. you really need to understand, if if they transposed it to a better key signature, the speed of these notes and partial jumps would be challenging for a very experienced player
