Great piece and also it's surprising that the trombone part has a more demanding range than the first trumpet.
The composer wrote the part for himself so he knew what he could play ;)

Wonderful!!!
That's awesome. Don't know how I've never heard this piece before.

Great composition but that has to be the slowest samba I've ever heard; How drunk were the gauchos dancing it, I wonder?
Hi! I'm wondering if maybe you mistook this "Zamba" with the brasilian Samba. Those are diferent genres. Argentinian Zamba is a genre that I could describe more like a ballade, so maybe that's why it feels so slow to you. I recommend a lot that kind of music, it's very meaningful in Latin America.
@@nicolasfernandez2817 Never heard of that before, thanks for making me aware. The USA is shamefully ignorant of South American music outside of Brazil. Always love to learn about more music from the hispanic world. I'm only really familiar with Mexican and Tejano music because of my family.
@@somatotomy No problem, I'm glad that you enjoyed this. Hope you'll explore a bit more of Latin-traditional genres, I'm sure you're going to love them as well!
