I personally really enjoy the haruharu wonder sunscreen. I have dark, sensitive skin and it’s affordable, didn’t break me out, and has no white cast

Hi Voneè! I’m still enjoying my time here in Korea and I should be around when you get here. Lol I can’t recommend the cosrx sunscreen enough! Def try it out if you are interested in trying some Korean sunscreens. And honestly, I’m a bit thankful that I didn’t make it on the show. I have nothing negative to say, but I don’t think it would have been a good fit for me. But I really appreciate your support ❤️❤️
Hi! Remember me? So I got the IsnTree Hyaluronic Acid Sunscreen and I love it! It leaves a slight white cast on my skin. I’m not very pale, but my skin is is slightly tan I guess. Anyways, I love the way it applies. It’s so easy. It doesn’t feel like a body sunscreen (thick) and it leaves my skin soft. I’ve only tried a few (face) sunscreens in my life. But I can say that this one is my favorite. ❤

In Southkorea it’s recommended for all people to use sunscreen, so it’s for all skin colours, ofc even darker shades but there are different types that are suitable for every person’s skin condition
You are right. Sunscreen is recommended for all people of all skin types. And it’s also nice to have sunscreen that can be warm comfortably by people with richer skin tones. Those are the sunscreens I recommended and promoted in this video.

I have been using a sunscreen called “Murad”; very expensive and created by dermatologist.
I have recently started itching around the eyes (called contact dermatitis) and read it may be my sunscreen.
The article recommended that I use a good Korean sunscreen of which I was a little leery due to my highly melanated skin.
I will switch to this to see how it goes; sad to have to reconsider using my $80 Murad. 😔
I’m so sorry to hear that your skin reacted negatively to your sunscreen. I also suffered from contact dermatitis a few years ago because of products I was using (plus rubbing to harshly). I recommend trying out different products to see why works for your skin. I understand this can be a little pricey but you can’t replace your skin and it’s important to treat it well. If you have any questions about sunscreens don’t hesitate to ask! I’m not an expert but I’m well-informed and I am happy to help!
I want to try the Isntree watery sun gel too! Not too long ago, I got my first Korean sunscreen. It’s the Miss Ha Waterproof sun milk. I chose it on the whim so I was surprised that it had fragrance. It smells amazing, but im definitely going to go back to physical sunscreens, I have my eye on the one you are using. :)

Try tocobo, its really good. Im a shade nw45 and no white caste.

This is great! I am a KBeautyaholic and constantly giving recs to my friends, including my WOC. My fave sunscreen is a different version of one mentioned - the Thank You Farmer Shimmer Sun Essence in the pink tube, which is a clear gel.

Would you say the Isntree sunscreen you showed is super dewy? I’ve been thinking of getting it, but I’m not looking for super dewy sunscreen for my dry/combo skin.
After initial application, it’s pretty dewy but once it sets into the skin it gives more of a satin luminous feeling. But that’s just my opinion! I hope you find a sunscreen that works well for your skin!

I recommend more heavy duty sunscreens such as any of the physical sunscreens and reapply every few hours!

If you have your ARC card, you can purchase on coupang for cheap. Otherwise, Amazon is the way to go.

On one of the I think it’s the mineral sunscreen, I am visually impaired so I can’t see the reading on the product, I remember you saying that it said calming on the label and there is a Half well looks like a half sun on the label as well. Korean sunscreens wont protect you from the hot summer sun. Please use high Uva European sunscreens for vacations and hot summers.
Most korean PA++++ sunscreens UVA protection are only 19-21 .. la roche posay and many european sunscreens with the UVA protetion seal have 50%-80% more UVA coverage.European La roche posay sunscreens are like 46 on the UVA ... korean sunscreens are like 19. I barely tan with european sunscreens but tan so easily with most asian sunscreens
Thank you for the feedback! I think it’s also important to consider accessibility. Here in Asia, the European brands are not as easily accessible or they are sold at an extremely higher price. Also sun exposure differs around the world, so I think the Korean sunscreen options are suitable for the sun exposure here.
@@HunterBrenaéve been in South Korea for over a month and the sun is strong here forsure. I tanned more then i do in California! But of course i do walk and take public transportation so thats a factor. But i bought a whole bunch of skincare. Its not as cheap out here as i thought it was! Lol

hi, so i have a very dark skin tone and oily skin. do you have any recommendations for a sunscreen that doubles as a moisturizer?
So, I’m not a skincare professional, but I often wear my sunscreens as moisturizers especially if they don’t leave a white cast. I would recommend checking if your current sunscreen has moisturizing properties and if so, you’re good to go! The less product the better for oily skin. I hope that helps!

@@hitman9893 honestly I’ve heard mixed reviews about the supergoop unseen sunscreen so maybe do your research to see if it has moisturizing properties.

I totally understand 😪 I have sensitive skin too so I am weary about what products I use. I think it’s better to find a fragrance free sunscreen and patch test before using it on your skin. Best of luck! ❤️
