    Really appreciate your videos. Wife and I are new to UTV's, bought our first just before the lockdown and it was a life saver to go and social distance in the Owyhees or up Harris Creek :)

      2011 Rzr 800 robbie gordon from friends- was a 4 seater modified to a roomy 2 seater- professionally not DIY :) If you have any trail suggestions for a novice I am open- Went Hawley lookout Saturday after seeing your latest vid from there

    Looks beautiful up there. I see you go a little slower when she is with you. That's about the speed I go because of my back. Great video

      She's not a big speed fan haha. Plus I like going slow to "see everything" per say when in a new area or somewhere I haven't been in years. Ahhh I see, nothin wrong with goin slow and taking the sights in! Thanks for watching bud!

    considering these for my 2020 S. I do mostly short circuit racing . Its a toss up between the springs or a bigger turbo 😂

    How do you find your trails? We recently downloaded onX trails and it's OK (ran across a lot of locked gates that were supposed to be accessible). We are also in SW Idaho!

      Mainly google maps and forest service mvum maps. Growing up here and knowing the area certainly helps. A lot of people use facebook groups (Idaho Offroad UTV/ATV & Idaho RZR Crew) to ask about routes or join others for rides. Or just pick an area and explore - that's my preference. Gates and road closures are inevitable unfortunately.

      I use the clap method to sync all three and only use audio from the helmet gopro. This link should explain everything else. ua-cam.com/video/Fpm-6rcaNNY/v-deo.html

    Is your new springs has rubbing problems to the shock body or the crossover rings, mine kind of does, thanks.

    • @McCurdyOutdoors
      @McCurdyOutdoors  3 роки тому

      They rubbed slightly on the body early on...I clocked both springs another 90 degrees and it fixed it.

    You never really said anything about the springs. Does it ride smooth? Whats the chatter you mentioned? Whats the benefit? Do you feel the rocks?

    • @McCurdyOutdoors
      @McCurdyOutdoors  3 роки тому

      What would you like to know about the springs? There's a ton of videos on these kits on various types of SXS's. The chatter is the divider hitting the crossover ring. This kit changes your shocks to a true dual rate setup. The benefit is a much smoother ride at all speeds and you regain factory ride height. Most SXS's ride great for a few hundred miles until the top spring collapses and you're only riding on the main spring, making the ride harsh. If you have any other questions feel free.

      @@McCurdyOutdoors thanks, I think that answers my questions. I've heard they improve the ride a ton, ive searched and can't find anything talking about the ride. I ordered them should be in Friday

    I did ST on my turbo s and I don’t think it’s any better than stock

    • @McCurdyOutdoors
      @McCurdyOutdoors  3 роки тому

      What kind of terrain do you ride? Were your tenders collapsed yet? Was night and day for me but I think that solely depends how hard you drive it and where at.

      @BradFizer 3 роки тому

      @@McCurdyOutdoors I ride rocky terrain Tennessee West Virginia Kentucky. Not super fast. Mainly under 30 mph. My tenders were collapsed and I had 12” of ground clearance before. Wasn’t sure if I have these set up wrong or I’m just not easily impressed. I had mine valved also

    • @McCurdyOutdoors
      @McCurdyOutdoors  3 роки тому +1

      @Holler Crawlers I've heard ST sucks for east coast riding with the spring rates are too stiff for the slow rock crawling stuff. Think most of them use the stock main spring and use rzraid tenders to get the ride height correct. I'd ask Blown Budget or BTR what they run since they run that type of terrain.

    • @BradFizer
      @BradFizer 3 роки тому +1

      @@McCurdyOutdoors that’s kind of what I was thinking. Pretty much everyone that is happy is the west coast and everyone unhappy is east coast lol

    Are you able to get your turbo s into most areas in idaho?

    • @McCurdyOutdoors
      @McCurdyOutdoors  4 роки тому

      Yes. Can't do any 50" trails up north but I prefer the better suspension anyway. Thousands of miles of forest service road and jeep trails in Idaho to take a Turbo S on.

      @@McCurdyOutdoors awesome! I'm in the market for a toy and live in boise. Most of my riding will be idaho city area, featherville, mccall area, Owyhees (obviously no issues here). I will need a 4 seater though, still think ill be fine in most areas?

    • @McCurdyOutdoors
      @McCurdyOutdoors  4 роки тому +1

      @@brandonswogger8446 You'll be fine. Wont be as nimble or as easy to turn around but the Turbo S4 rides amazing with the longer wheelbase.
