Why didn’t you cross midfield for a left downwind for 8 instead of flying right in front of departing planes
I used to fly, so this may seem hypocritical, but what I wonder if the character of the Island is in jeopardy from too much air noise.
There are noise abatement proceedures posted. Aircraft are required to climb out to pattern alt 1900 ft msl before turning and absolutely no flying over the shore and town. I've seen many posted videos though where pilots don't follow this rule.
