Actually . . . my comment was based on empirical evidence and Mr. Corgan's behaviour and life choices . . . . your insult directed at me was simply a baseless ad hominem attack because I said something you didn't like and it gave you "bad feels". Do a little research and you'll discover that Billy Corgan is not a nice guy. He's an asshole.
Bledsoe Texas I meet Billy a few times back in the late 90's. He was an a hole. Maybe he has mellowed a bit.
I can not believe I found this video! My dad has worked at Coleto Creek Power Station for 40 years, I grew up in the area and Smashing Pumpkins is my ALL TIME FAVORITE BAND! It was the first band I ever saw live in Austin when I was 16. Years later I saw them again with my daughter in Austin when she turned 16. My first EVER art show was in Kennedy, Tx! Love this! I am from this area!

I've seen this a few times over the years, and it's one of the best Daily Woo's to watch. I am not going to saying anything disparaging about the current content, I still enjoy it. This seems to be the pinnacle of the times.

The Hanging Tree is probably pretty creepy at night. :-/ My hubby's band played at Washington Square in South Beach (back when SoBe was cool) and their band did play with Smashing Pumpkins before they were big. :-) They also played with Marilyn Manson & The Spooky Kids, before MM became famous and the "Spooky Kids" part was dropped. Cool guys!

Ok, I am now extremely jealous, to have lunch with and paid for by Billy Corgan and then hang with him for a while, That blew my mind.. Smashing Pumpkins were one of my favourite bands as a teen, I also was told by many a stranger I looked liked billy corgan in my youthful thinner days. Oh how I have tried to meet him at many a gigs I have attended but to no avail... :@(

I can only imagine, I doubt I would have the chance being in the UK, the only surreal thing that happened to me and a couple of mates was Cory Taylor from slipknot come to a party in our hotel room before the Gig in Cardiff (Wales) many a year ago and during the gig it was very weird to hear him say 'this song is dedicated to the maggots in hotel room 202' that blew my mind..

I am in my 30s and have a husband and 3 children. We do not have Internet or television at home. If we want to use the Internet, we do so at work or go out to a coffee shop. It has made are lives a lot more productive and interesting, I think. We go on a lot more adventures, play a lot more board games, talk to each other, and read a lot more books. We find we get addicted to tv and Internet when around it too long.
