We also have the FA Cup final coming in GW37 so we look into the best Man City and Man United players to target to gain the extra fixture.

Hiya buddy top work & i'm already looking forward to yr euro content👌....currently sat in 39th,& my thoughts this week (to try make top 21) is whether my 2 differentials in taa & jackson are enough or whether i might need a 3rd??.

Cheers Dean! It's flown by this season, doesn't feel long ago we were playing the old one. Yeah from the looks of the EURO game a few small tweaks could be perfect. You can have some fun this week with that gap!

Yeah I think that’s what I’d do too to be honest. Bit gutting you can’t keep Trent over Virgil but VVD still could have an attacking return in him shrug 🤷♂️
Then you can take 2 out for a Bernardo and maybe another defender. With all the finalist players I think you should be fine!
Is it worth bringing in a city defender or midfielder like Bernardo?
Hi Scott. Currently sitting 480 after 155 points last gameweek. Finding transfer decisions particularly tough this week with the Cup Final looming although I've got a feeling there might not be much upside in the final if you have the main City players the best you'll do is hold rank. With my team I don't want to move off Arsenal, Palmer or Son at Sheffield Utd. I have the four main City players everyone has and I've got Fernandes and Onana which is as heavy as I want to go on Man Utd so was considering rolling this week and bringing in 3 City for the Final but that would mean losing a transfer. My other thought was with Saka and De Bruyne flagged if I got a whisper either or both were going to miss this week a move to Salah and/or bring in another City midfielder but other than that I'm unsure. I could then bring back De Bruyne for the Final. As they say if you're in doubt sometimes doing nothing pays off. Meant to ask you do you play other fantasy versions FPL and Sky ? If so how are you getting on.
Yeah i'm torn like you stuck between taking a punt on this week to gain but also a bit scared that going without city will make me fall...

I'm 58k currently on FPL. Somehow finished 1.8k FPL last season don't think i'll ever beat that!
SkyFF this season is my first season playing. I'm 824th and 1.2k but blown all of my transfers in both teams. 🥲

@@DreamTeamProfessor Hi Scott. Very decent ranks in both FPL and Sky. Congratulations. Myself, currently sitting 61K in FPL. In the seasons I've played I've never broken into top 50K and it's getting tougher to do so with the number of engaged managers increasing every year. In Sky which I find the most difficult I'm nowhere near with my teams sitting at 2.9K and 6.7K. it's the version that needs the most planning and strategic thinking. For me there's too many moving parts. Good luck for the end of the season.
Hi Scott, thanks for the info throughout the season. I was just outside the top 1k that you keep referring to, before this gameweek, but my moves didn't pay off. I was 150pts ahead in mini league so happy to gamble to see if I could break the 1k barrier. Sadly the wheels came off. Thanks again 👍
What do you think about adding Bruno Fernandes? One league I'm only 7pts behind first who has Salah
And other league is 20pts in front and has Isak and Son

I think if you wanted to gun for the one more likely to catch up the first option looks good. Nothing wrong with Bruno he’s a good looking option, especially Brighton game.
I just fancy Bernardo a little more over the two games but could be close. Bruno got pens too.
@DreamTeamProfessor is really tight. Son is a bit of a wild card, for as I feel like a city transfer makes sense but also its sheffield. 😆
Also , I want to shift Onana for Ortega, but it seems like a waste of a transfer as he does put quite a few saves in, and hopefully, this balances out him going negative against the city next week

91 points ahead in my cash league and sitting 164th overall. Expect a top 100 to be out of the question now but I am fortunate to have both Walker and Bruno who came up trumps in the end last week.
Really want to keep Gabriel, Palmer and Son this week so thinking Bruno G out for a differential yet to be decided and might as well do Ederson to Ortega. Would leave me with the chance of 9 or 10 in the cup final.
Great work! You've made a good come back, as didn't you fall back for a while? I'm a bit annoyed at myself for not sticking Walker but i'd never have brought him in with the benching I guess.
What are you thinking on the Ortega move. I'm probably doing it but it's very dull 😂
@@DreamTeamProfessor I’ve had Gvardiol since GW31, captained Bruno in GW32 and went early on the City block which all boosted me back up. Think i dropped to around 250ish but was as high as 70th at one point. That one week I missed the deadline after captaining Olise did the damage! Lesson learned.
Yeh I think Ederson to Ortega is a boring but obvious move if the rest of the team looks good. My second transfer is anyone’s guess at the moment. If it’s a City player I’ll have 10 in the final but I’m tempted by a differential and keep looking at Eze. Had him for the first 6 game weeks and he’s a bonus point magnet even if he doesn’t return. Similar to Bruno G and Kudus who have both played a part for me at times.
A season review video would be great if you’ve got time before the Euros content starts!

I’ve managed to catch you in our mini end of season 1v1 (by luck I admit) - left Walker in as I didn’t see any leaks and left Bruno in as I wanted him for the final.
This week I have the hard decision of taking out 2 of my 4 none Manchester players.
I have gone Gabriel to Dias & Isak to Bernardo Silva
This gives me Palmer and Jackson for Bournemouth.
You have 11 points to make up on me, as I’m sat at 129th overall now.
If you’re going to catch me, it needs to be this week as I’ll have a full 11 next week 😉

Yeah the City/Ars defence impossible to split that looks fine. What's your thoughts on Isak/Bernardo move as i'm considering too?

@@DreamTeamProfessor to be honest, Isak to Bernardo is signed and sealed for me as I want to get 11 in for the last gameweek - Isak could outscore him but I’m willing to take the hit if I climb rank the final day 😁👍

Im 80 points clear of 2nd in my mini league with £2k on the line. I have more city players than him, would you recommend me putting Salah and Saka in to cover him off? Meaning il only have 8 players in the final rather than 10
Blimey those are some high stakes! I'd probably cover off his Salah as long as that doesn't leave you a lot of players less than him for the final? If you've got the same amount or more for the final and can do it think that looks okay

Do you not fancy Alvarez? Scored twice coming on a sub last 2 game weeks. Scored as many points as Isak Watkins and Son last 3 game weeks. Subs could be very important come Cup Final extra time minutes etc??? Martinez - Ortega for me and Isak for Alvarez/Salah. Will wait for pressers for any injuries.
Hi Phillip, not for me. I know he's done well but a penalty off the bench once haaland had gone of was quite fortunate. I'd rather someone I know will have the extra minutes I think. If we hear something like KDB is a doubt though could be a shout

127 in front in mini league - is it worth the risk and maybe going Salah for the final game? Would only give me 7 Man City in GW37. Or go safe and bring in a City player?
To be honest if it's just about wrapping up the mini league i'd probably go boring and go City and see it out 😄
It's likely what I will do, but like you i'm a little bit tempted to do a big punt on Salah for the end. City seems the safest shout tho.

The most he has scored is 18 & 19pts this season so if best case he gets that do you think you may be able to make up the other 20 odd pts with other players you have different to them?
If not could be worth the captaincy but I do think this is a great Haaland match so quite worrying haha

Can anyone explain the gameweeks? How can a league with 38games be considered GW36 on this ? And we'll finish on GW37? Just trying to get my head around it
Because it’s not 1 premier league game a week. There are international breaks, cup weekends and double game weeks to consider along the way
Yeah exactly that. Double gameweeks and extra cup fixtures. Each game/format is different. FPL is on 38 as it's just prem.
