Thanks for uploading Lily! I like Trinny London products, too, especially the original bff, their eyeproducts (really easy to use and they do not budge) and the lip to cheeks, mat but comfortable and they wear off in a subtle way

They eat lunch at 11.30 (because there’s so many kids to get through) so by 3 they’re so hungry

@@Bee-qm7rd there isn't usually a snack time after lunch - just in the morning. So I also always had a snack for my kids when they got home from school - it helps keep them going til their evening meal.
We never needed to learn phonics growing up and we could still learn to read and write. I don’t get the reason why phonics appears to be taught prevalently and I’d probably be just as confused about it myself lol
I know! But to be fair she’s writing after just one term at school so I think it helps them pick it up easier
Went to a Phonics workshop at my daughters school this week they said it helps them learn the structure and sound of words, how’re they’re made, how to then read similar/harder words with the same syllables and sounds this gives them the tools to break down longer words into chunks they can understand. rather than just memorising words. Hopefully that makes sense🤣x

About the m - sound: You are actually not supposed to make any sound before or after the m. Just close your lips and hum. Stop pruducing a sound before opening your lips again. - Also - I love the idea of romantacising your life. :)
How mean about your family's secret-santa - one minute you say it's too 'transactional' and the the next minute you say you want to buy someone something they want! Personally I hate it when soemone insists on buying me something they think I'd like instead of something I actually do like/want/need. Who cares if you think it's boring buying them the top they want - it's not your present!
Our family gave up buying any adult presents once kids started to come along - so if you really want to be less 'transactional' then just have an agreement that no one buys each other anything. Especially with friends - we have a strict no presents outside of family, I really don't want my friends to buy me stuff as I have enough.
I would say you are completely different to Lydia. I have stopped following her as she is inauthentic, has lost touch with reality and is unbelievable. However, loving these chatty vlogs and the fact you still upload weekly. Keep up the good work Lily ❤
