Thanks for the info. For monitoring glucose, I use Freestyle Libre sensor with BluCon NightRider and able to get glucose values on my watch without the phone and without scanning the sensor.
Just a little question please I know that glucose concntration in the ECF is higher than its concentration in the ICF.why in the kidneys the condition is different?
All GLUT work similarly just there is spacial differences so there are changes in some amino acids in the chain.. GLUT numbers can be remembered from Harry potter's ELBSS Dumbaldor. E(epithelial cells), L (liver), B (brain), S (skeletal muscles) and S (small intestine)
to add to what the others have said Glut 2 is found in liver for glucose storage and pancreas B-islet cells Glut 4 is found in adipose tissue and muscle, which is stimulated by insulin and so on
In germany we call people like you "Ehrenmann" an i think this is beautiful. :DD

EXCELLENT EXPLANATION!! NEEEDED THIS!!
You made it so simple to understand! Thank you
Thank you!
Great explanation! Thanks a bunch 😊
What's the role of insulin in this process?
Very great job. We need you at our university
Thank you! I appreciate it.

Hey sorry, but I didn't get about which GLUT type are you actually talking, could you explain it to me again, please? :)

@ GLUT is a transporter, a transmembrane protein andproteins are made of amino acids
to add to what the others have said
Glut 2 is found in liver for glucose storage and pancreas B-islet cells
Glut 4 is found in adipose tissue and muscle, which is stimulated by insulin
and so on
Nice job!
So does glucose diffuse in a hypertonic and isotonic cell ?
Do the conformation changes to the transport proteins require energy input to occur? If so, where does it come from?
i think the confirmation dont required energy
