I got the same issue with my C20 and i'am quite frustating.
As i seen you ahve done a great job with your (and from what i have seen on internet you are one of the only one... Really Great) Can you help me and tell me what are the eletronic component you have changed.
That would be relaly great so i could try to follo your exemple and do the same.

Once Bose Companion Speaker have been opened, their output goes down since one can't match original packaging
Please correct me, if I am wrong.

odio esa marca terriblemente. se me daño companion 5 bose. y se me daño el companion 20 bose. se me daño el bose 321. daños irreparables por ser componentes smd. arrepentido de haber invertido en esa maldita marca.
