I have the same machine but #138 thread is jamming between the bottom of the foot plate and the bobbin case when it's trying to pull the needle thread back over the case. There doesn't seem to be enough clearance for the thread to clear. Any thoughts on that?

I have one as well. I had it serviced and he claimed the timing should last two years or two days. It broke the next day.. Couldn't find him a whole year. Yesterday he answered !! I don't remember when I out the new belt I purchased. It's in storage. Can I use the same belt you used if they have different numbers?
