I wouldn't walked out shouting that the Grey Knights player was cheating, more of the players there would've spoken out as well. Thankfully I've never had such an encounter.
You say you're only a small channel, I work in a restaurant on top of a cliff in pembrokeshire. One day we get a new kitchen porter. We get chatting about 40k. Turns out that we are both big fans of yours. Thanks for all you do mate.
I had to do a double take on that first story. What TO in their right state of mind would side with someone who has no codex and uses "homebrew" rules? If I was the OP, I'd put that TO on blast and stay far away. TO doesn't want to make grumpy faces, well he just bade a crap tone more by enabling that cheater.
It all sounds just like madeup bullshit. "He produced a bunch of papers, TO's said it was ok beause they didn't want to make people angry and he went on to win the entire thing". Yeah no, I call BS.
Honestly i would have both pulled out the invite stating that a valid codex was required and played the game with a judge there and call the ratty little knight player out on every bs rule he pulled.
27:59 man I wish I could apply this advice at my school, too bad I go to Columbine High School and the staff would not take that statement in a very good way
I don't understand why that TO would rule that way with the fake Grey Knight codex. He doesn't want frowns? So you don't want to upset the 1 player who had been offered a real codex and instead it's OK to upset his 3/5 opponents instead? So 5 frowns are ok, but 1 isn't? What the heck....
I actually got into the Sisters of Battle through their lore because of their faith and the Miracles said faith gives them the power to perform. I think the first poster was 100% right to walk away from the tournament and the people running the Tournament should be Ashamed of themselves for allowing it to get that far. Wrong however to think that a lame cheater has anything to do with any specific army. I would bet we could go into the backlogs of the hobby nightmares and find a cheating Knights player, and no one would judge you as a knight's player because someone else decided to be a cheater. That is a mistake anyone can fall into and what North was saying about his feelings with Space wolves and said likely better than I did. :) Anyway, that said, the first poster was spot on to walk away from the game. To the 3rd poster, I agree totally with North, the guy was a bully and a total little bitch and honestly, it sounds like the people running the shop were not a lot better than him. I hope you have found a new hobby store with better people to be around.
A war hound Titan is 1100, there’s no way to even play a 1k game with one. If they played 600 points he’d have almost double those points with the Titan.
Lol you can't hit... just like when you were a kid playing soldiers, there was always one that had the impenetrable force field. Even though you were reenacting operation Overlord
The last story pisses me off so much. There's WAAAAAY too many stories where these people need to just beat the shit out of their antagonizers and stop taking all the crap.
I mean warhounds do suck ngl and they are overcosted... that said, rebalancing it to 600pt is absurd and I think the average player misunderstands just how much even small points changes can alter the balance of the game.

dont recommend giving them both barrels
1st story, should have gotten a written and signed statement from the TO for that ruling and get that event and its organizers blacklisted.

Pretty sure I remember reading somewhere that George Lucas didn’t believe the “Legends” were canon either😅 9:14
There is a quote from Lucas in 2001… I will paraphrase something about ”parallel universes” his movies vs the parallel universe… the Liscensing world😅

My two armies (Necrons and Sisters) were picked purely because of how cool I thought they looked back in 2007 lol

@2:38 It was in 6th and part of 7th. :(
The Primaris line has utterly ruined bikes.
Mono weapons
Nothing special
Bland stupid design.
Like the rest of Primaris but dialed up to eleven

That guys custom chapter colour scheme looks very similar to mine minus the helm which for me is white. Anyway i approve :p
No you should not have played him.. "TO" was at fault.
I don't own a codex but I bring my Laptop to the LGS for wahapedia. Is this frowned upon?
No. Waha is a reliable source of Warhammer info. Beware the laptop's charge cable though.
@CTimmerman haha hell yeah

What does Black Templars say about you?
