      I had my ancestry DNA tested twice over a period of 10 years. Since I have clinicians in my family, I felt secure in having my DNA tested by their colleagues. My 2 tests were conducted in 2 different laboratories at 2 different medical institutions. My results were the same from both studies! ! Just recently, I decided to do the African Ancestry DNA test. I wanted to see if their results would match the results that I had from my first 2 tests taken so long ago. Well, my African Ancestry results came out the very same!!! On my mother's side I'm from the Brame and Balanta peoples of Guinea-Bissau. My African ancestors are real!!!

    I am 100% sure that some people did keep their names because that’s what’s been told by some ancestors. My grandmothers people on my mothers side also know that they came from Guinea because they always said so. They didn’t lose their memories. That’s where they said they came from. And if my grandfather said that his grand parents kept their family name then that’s what it is. You would have to be there to see people not remembering their names to say that none of them remembered or kept their names.

      @anneijeomaevans2675 4 роки тому +1

      @Eugene Sanou I believe that the reason people are finding the results of this doctor's research difficult to accept is because we have been sold a propaganda that slavery was devastating to a large part of Africa. What this is proving is that slavery happened in a specific concentrated part of Africa. Guinea Bissau is coastal, so the trade happened there. The research is accurate and debunks the propaganda against African Americans. Dr Gina Paige has merely matched the samples with specific populations in Africa that match these.

    • @anneijeomaevans2675
      @anneijeomaevans2675 4 роки тому +1

      @Eugene Sanou I studied West African History in Nigeria. So I know. Dr Paige is a scholar and is linked to an African American geneticist who has developed this unique African testing. I know what you're saying about the 1884 Berlin Conference that split us up or put us in countries with enemy ethnic groups, however, these tests don't address artificial national boundaries that we have been subjected to by colonial history, it addresses genetic markers that relate to biological ancestry.

    It is inaccurate when she said all your siblings kids will have the same Maternal line! It is not the first time I hear her say that. You get a maternal line from your mitochondrial DNA, you get it from your mother when she was carrying you in her womb. Only your (maternal)grandma and her daughter's children will share the same Maternal Mitochondrial DNA, think the children being carried in the womb(Those children will have that same woman's Maternal line). Your brother's children will carry their mother's Mitochondrial DNA, not your same one. These discrepancies of hearing her give inaccurate information is making me not want to use that DNA site. How you charge people 300 dollars but you out here and don't know jack about your company nor genetics! Makes me doubt credibility.

    Now that God has brought you back. Invest in the country. You can have a firm that employs up to 20 workers.

    Fulanis are not the most beautiful tribe in Africa most southern and eastern Africans don't know who Fulanis are, maybe they are the most beautiful in West Africa, also guinea Bissau is not near sierra leone but closer to Conakry Guinea there was quite some ignorance in the video ): but congrats on your results

    • @jeswazwadi7049
      @jeswazwadi7049 5 років тому

      @Xczar you might want to do some research yourself since you sound very intelligent you just said" Beauty is relative and context-specific and isn't contingent upon western construct" if that is truly the case then she shouldn't mention Fulanis because most Fulanis look like black Arabs,thin nose, thin ,lips, most have lose curls and she was clearly talking about the physical appearance.
      other than the corrections which you made that I clearly misunderstood I expect Dr. Gina to know better about geography Guinea Bissau is not bordered by mali as she states in the video.
      Unlike you, English is not my first language I speak 4 and a half languages

    • @jeswazwadi7049
      @jeswazwadi7049 5 років тому

      @Xczar Majority of Africa was colonized by Britain but not all so I disagree with your statement "Any African (no matter what part of the world you currently reside in) who can't articulate seamlessly, any other language besides English isn't truly African".I am guessing you are nigerian
      I also still think Dr.Gina would have at least gotten a map when she was explaining to the woman in the video about her tribe or were her ancestors originated from because this kind of topic should be explained accurately,yes I don't expect her to now all about Africa as there are still many undiscovered secrets .
