I really love this track, I first heard it playing at the end of Battle Royale, and decided that i needed to find this band, i then imported what albums i could find. Loved them ever since.
The name of the song is "Shizuka na Hibi no Kaidan Wo" and is from the Battle Royale soundtrack. This has now been put in my favorites, BTW. Good work on finding the video.
I was asked to design and model a Lightsaber that was to be a gift to Ikuzone from one of his friends. He passed away before I could finish the CG model. It was to have a red blade and a blue blade. This song makes me think of him and the people who have come and gone in my life.
Even though it's been quite a long time since I've watched the movie, definitely more than 3 years ago, this song...I can't explain it...it hits your heart even though you may not know the meaning. I get chills every time I've heard it since watching battle royale, definitely a song I'm not going to ever forget. Guess the movie does that to you :)

この曲が使われた映画「バトル・ロワイヤル」は、中学生同士が殺し合いをさせられるという内容のため、当時政治家まで騒ぐほどの問題作だった。
自分は当時高校をやめて、未来の展望もなくフリーター生活をしていた。この映画を見て、「殺し合いさせられる主人公たちがかわいそう」と思うと同時に、「殺し合いの義務に絶望できる仲間たちがいて羨ましい」とも思った。
この映画を見て、充実した高校生活を送れなかったことを自分が悲しんでいたとわかった。そうわかった瞬間に（エンドロールで）流れていたのがこの曲。当時なんとなく励まされているような感じがしたのを覚えている。
