Its honeslty a shame we dont know who all the nations are, thou we can sorta guess who is who at the start is Red being the Romans due to having a larger border then others, they also get military upgrades for free of cost, get some free units when they build barracks and have cheaper towers and forts, it would explain why they were able to sorta turtle it out before charging in. If they had the Terracota Army wonder then they would be getting a free unit from it every minute or so. Cyan is another that it might be possible to identify who it is since they get a 2nd city before anyone else, wich made me think one nation had the power to create a 2nd city for free, but couldnt remenber one and since but this is an 8 hours game compress to 3 minutes... so its possible they are just a economic type nation and was able to push a 2nd town sooner then others. Purple is another im not sure if we can identify... it cleary is gaining a larger border and is pushing back the Red border, so they could be the Romans aswell (assuming the game was pure random and player got 2 romes out of nowhere), or Purple had wonders built to boost the borders. Thats all i have to say really.
When I play Age of Empires 2 in my world map, it always ends the same way as here, with the Old World versus América, and the Old World has the advantages of course. I did realistic maps for that game you can get links for in my channel.
Try looking on the steam workshop (assuming you have the extended edition of Rise of Nations). Not sure about this particular scenario, but there are plenty of similar maps you can download and play on. Hope this helps.
