I have below a list of all the equipment we use on most our shoots. They are direct links to Amazon, where we bought all the same equipment. These are affiliate links, so if you want to support us, and buy the item off the link, we'll make a little money off of it. Your not charged any extra, and it goes to supporting us, just wanted to make sure you knew ahead of time :) These are all products I stand by 100 percent regardless, and all products we use on a day to day basis. At the end of this list I'll have a link to a blog going into even more depth about the equipment we use.
Camera Equipment I Use:
Canon 5D Mark III (use for all our behind the scene videos):

Devinsupertramp Signature Series Glidecam:

My Favorite Lenses in Order of used most:
Canon 16-35mm F/4 USM
amzn.to/1Xe3KtA
Canon 14mm F/2.8
amzn.to/1UUacqQ
Canon 70-200mm F/2.8 II
amzn.to/1UUaf5X
Canon 24mm F/1.4L II
amzn.to/1UUaj5S
Canon 50mm F/1.2
amzn.to/1Xe3XwT
For all our aerial shots, we use the DJI Inspire 1, with two controllers.
amzn.to/1UUauhl
Our favorite audio mic for on board camera:
Rode Pro Mic
amzn.to/1R8xPMH
We also use B+W circular polarizer. They get rid of the reflections from water, windows, and most plants/green things. We use them whenever the sun is out. When buying a polarizer make sure to get the right size for the lens that you own. I feel if your going to spend the money and buy an expensive lens, it's worth spending the extra money to buy a polarizer of the same quality to match your lens, otherwise your lens won't be as clear. Plan on spending about 130 dollars US for one.
Here's a couple different sizes for common lenses:
77mm.
amzn.to/1UUbjH2
82mm
amzn.to/1UUbnXp
GoPro Hero4 Black Edition. This is the one we use and recommend.

The GoScope We Use:

Western Digital 2TB Hard Drives:
amzn.to/255VuBx
Transcend Card Reader:
amzn.to/1WsByD7
Here's the drones I would get in order of my favorite. We use the DJI Inspire 1 for our videos.
DJI Inspire 1
amzn.to/1ow1cuS
-I would get two controllers if possible to have the ability to have someone control the camera as well.
DJI Phantom 4: http:amzn.to/1RY2AEm
3DR Solo:

If you have a very small budget and don't have enough to buy a big/medium drone, this is an awesome option to learn how to fly for under $100.00. They have a small camera on them, I would use them not for the camera but strictly to learn how to fly.
Parrot Mini Drone:

Guys, Devin could be making many many videos of his adventures instead showing us or teach us how to make movies by ourselves. That means he is awesome. He deserves that millions subs!! Share his vids!! Thanks Devin!
+Victor Diaz Agreed! He's evolving and not just doing the same thing..and helping others in the process so OVER AND OUT!
The quality and diversity of these videos are phenomenal. Thank you so much for all this, Devin & Team Supertramp!
Thanks for all the uploads Devin. Seriously, you should get much more love for these!
Great topic for a discussion. Asking favors and doing something in return is often needed with zero budgets. But these same ideas are also useful even if you have a budget.
Hey Devin,
thank you for all your great Videos and tutorials, you're a great inspiration.
This was very inspiring! Thx :D Feel like I want to start filming something right now!
unusual title, but really amazing devin!!!
thanks a lot for you and seth
Devin, I know on your Rode VideoMic Pro tutorial you talked about keeping the mic on 0db and the camera settings on auto. I think you may get better results in this situation by using the +20db switch and then moving the camera audio levels to manual, maybe 1-3 notches from the left.
Since you're basically staying at the same level in this tutorials, it won't be super necessary to be on 'auto' and the +20db allows you to use the pre-amplifier built into the microphone rather than the camera's pre-amplifiers, which are what are causing the subtle hissing in the video.
Recommended your channel to someone asking about filmmaking tips today :) Keep up the great work!
Thank you Devin we love your videos
Oooh! I didn't thought you was going to explaing somethink like that! I love guerrilla film making! :D
+devingraham filming on most tourism area doesn't require a permit as long as you dont block areas for people to pass. Just have the most 2 people behind the camera and use small crew & few equipment
great tutorials devin! i love em
Fun and food should always keep people happy! :)
Great idea about shooting quality video on locations, so that they want you to come back. I'm in NYC for the next two weeks and plan to get out and shoot some footage.
Awesome tutorial Devin!
Simple and useful tips thank you!
Great tips on Guerrilla filmmaking, thanks Devin :-)
This tutorial was awesome.
Rockin' man, much appreciated. We're just starting out with our new channel, and we're releasing our first film on the 24th of this April. We just put a teaser trailer out (it's a star wars fan film)!
Même avec 👎🏾...... Il rester le "Devin Graham" l'un des plus grands FILMMAKER du monde.
Bravo à toi Devin.G
perfect, thanks! Going to Greece for 15 days and bought a Sony rx100iv to try and vlog with during the trip, which settings should i be in for vlogging?
Thanks. Great content!
Great tutorial videos. I'm curious why I never see you using a vest with your glidecam? I'm getting to the point with my gear where my camera set up is getting too heavy for arm in combo with the glidecam. I can't do all day shoots like I used to be able to with it. My arm starts to give out through out the day. But I see you have way more weights stacked on your glidecam than mine. Your camera set up looks pretty heavy too. Can you talk a little bit about how you deal with that?
Good stuff bro
When are you gonna come to the UK!
This is great content
Hi Davin!
I would like to know what the song in the outtro is called, bacause it's really cool!
Gorila Film making? eheheh kiddin :P you guys rock!
Problems with filming a location like the house boat. The agency that supplies permits can legally sue the film maker and ban the film maker to ever use their location.. They have evidence that the activity was filmed on their property and a permit was avoided. For example if you film on the Santa Monica Pier. Once the city has a magazine article or sees their property used in a video they will have their legal department send you a bill demanding payment. I know it happened to me and I had to pay it. So be careful about avoiding a permit it could come back to bite you at a later point.
so,gurreilla is not safe right ?
Nice tutorial Devin.
For someone of your level - up to making commercials for several companies (Mercedes-Benz comes to mind) , what companies would come to you with a $0 budget? Certainly they're paying you and just trying to be frugal on other aspects ?
Nice
Lazy Eye... I have one to
hai davin how do you bring in your sound? because you never use a mic on you red.
Cool Video
hey devin !can you come to egypt?
i'll be waiting for you
Best Editing Software(s). How you edit. Recommended. PLEASE?
Quick question. Will you get in trouble if you produce a film without a permit and they don't realise till they see the video? Or is it just if you get caught on the day?
hey devin you spelled it "Guerrilla in your title but "Guerilla" in the text pop up in the video at 0:08, which one is it?
+Caleb Serban-Lawler buuurn!!!!!! ;)
+Caleb Serban-Lawler does it matte tho?
Actually, both are commonly used and accepted spellings. Technically it seems as if the correct spelling may be guerrilla but both are good.
Devin I just love you!!!! haha
tutourial on a glidecam!
How do you shoot timelapses at night?
What song is it at the end?
Can you show us your slo mo camera please.

Can you get in trouble for shooting a video at a location AFTER you have posted it?
With what camera you start ? 🌚
So, buy food and drinks, got it!
Papabless
luv you
So I'm confused do you need a license to film nature on state/public land? I thought only private and owned property (excluding public/state) required a license. Am I right?
It is only on State, Federal, and BLM land that you need permits to film legally. If it's on private land, all you need is the land owner's permission. Private land is much easier to get permission to film on
Seth Jones so if I wanted to make a video titled "exploring utah in 4k" I would have to change the title now because I didn't have a license (pretending that this was the scenario). Doesn't that defeat the purpose of filming? Did Devin get a license for every nature/city video he did? Cause that would cost way to much money for any beginning film maker
Permits really only apply if you are trying to film something commercially or if you are planning to sell stock footage. So if you are wanting to show off Utah, and it's just for your own personal UA-cam, then you are probably safe to film without a permit. But if you want to go by the book, then you're supposed to get permits to film pretty much anything. So like we said in the video, don't get caught haha
Seth Jones cool thanks for replying :D
You should have mentioned that a lot of these things can get you arrested and/or fined as they are ILLEGAL.
Your vids are awesome but only one bad part. 30 second adds that you can't skip make me immediately stop watching unless it's something more than extra special. Sometimes I'll never find out as I've already stopped it due to the 30 second add
i mean come and film in egypt
It's not Illegal if you don't get caught!
better then the 600 dollar tuts from fulltime xd
So u have to be illegal to do Guerilla Film Making?
+Eddy - MotionGraphics not always, there are also a lot of places where its allowed to film.
+Marva Films or get permision for free if person in ur link..
filming with a $0 budget! App: $8.99
So, what's under the hat?
Love your videos and when you are in your 20's you can do stupid dangerous stuff without thinking about the consequences. Like who's insurance covers someone who get paralyzed doing a stunt. And who's pulling the permit when you are filming and flying in a national park. Its one thing to do it for fun, but you're doing it for money. Thats a whole new level and your video is promoting doing dumb stuff with people's lives and property. But hey don't listen to me- I'm just a cranky old guy- Just cross your fingers and hope nuthin' goes wrong. 'cause it never does, does it?
