I bought my first pair of Merrell about four months ago and I'll never buy another brand the support and comfort can't be beat I can wear them all day and my feet never get tired I'm getting ready to buy my second pair now❗👍😎
I like Merrill too but they are not waterproof.
I love my Hoka hiking shoes! Very cushy with great traction! Waterproof and very durable!
I have worn my Timberland shoes in wilderness areas as well as maintained trails. I have backpacked into the Grand Canyon and many canyons in Arizona. They hold up and are very comfortable. The cost is half of other shoes. They are a great shoe for almost any terrain.

Received Dick's Sporting gift card, would never normally shop there, went to get Asics running shoes as I work on my feet 8 hours daily Sprouts Vitamins department... New models Asics $120... expensive garbage...
Went to hiking and trail shoe section, landed on Adidas Terrex Gore-Tex, absolutely love them, they were also $120 (way more than I'd normally spend), very well made, great support, amazingly stable, reinforced toe, nice sole, although made in China they really used high quality materials, excellent craftsmanship... I've only worn for six weeks but give them 5 of 5 stars so far... We'll see how durable they are long term, but very impressed to date..! Blessings

Be sure and check the bottoms of your shoes . You may wear the heal down on one side or the other . Wich will put more strain on your body .

I'll tell you what I bought a pair of Renagade mid in size 15 and forgive me but this hiker is a piece of junk IMO. After 3 years of minimal use the soles are now cracked and separating from the shoe. I paid just over 250.00 for them, now for me that's the most I've ever paid for hikers. I went online to Lowa's website inquire about having the soles replaced, I was told by the company rep that they have a inherent problem with the soles detaching, and it cannot be repaired. The rep told me her pair had the sole detach and crack while she was hiking. So my review people... Don't bother get a pair of Colombia hikers at least they stand behind their product!
Merillemerrelle Moab is a horrible shoe. Little support and zero cushioning. Destroyed my knees I less then 2 weeks.
