Amen and amen, bruh!!! I am SO glad I found these videos! I'm not using anyone else's rhythm videos now. This guy should have a million subscribers and win the national teacher of the year award!
From one music teacher to another, thank you!! I know how much work you are doing for this. Entertaining and informative, I use your videos all the time.
Seriously I'm going to come out and say it I don't think there are better videos for teaching rhythm clapping on youtube right now. I could be wrong, but if I could make content like this for my students right now, this is what it would be. It's a dream come true that I found this.
I am 50-years old and have decided to learn to play the recorder (I love renaissance music). While learning some notes on the instrument, I'm also learning how to read music. However, I have a terrible sense of rhythm. This was very helpful and I look forward to watching more of your videos! Thank you for sharing!
Just wait...Mr. Gordon will be UA-cam famous within the year. Every one of these amazing videos will have millions of views. We can all say we knew him when!
I just came across your videos this week. Thank you!!! My students have really enjoyed incorporating this one into our lesson this week. As we all are adjusting to the pandemic and helping where there is a need, I have found myself being the music teacher at our elementary school this year (WITH NO MUSIC BACKGROUND!! eek) Resources like this has made stepping into this unexpected role so much easier.
Thank you Julie! I use the Final Cut Pro video editor. The rhythms are just screenshots from the Finale music notation software, and I import them directly into Final Cut Pro just like any other image.
This is glorious, been searching for "how to read music kids" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Foonlant Dumbstruck Formula - (search on google ) ? It is an awesome one of a kind product for discovering how to teach your child to read music notes without the normal expense. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my mate got excellent success with it.
This guy is the man. I envy the video production skills. It's a gift to us all right now.

I am an adult learner and this is awesome. Have been taking lessons for over a year. This is by far the easiest way to learn notes! Thanks Mr. Gordon!

My beginning music theory high school students love Mr. Gordon's high energy videos! I now have a virtual assistant - thanks.

Brother, you are good. But too many cartoons. Please decrease the cartoon, and it will be just fine.
