I just made this tonight after watching the video. Yum! I didn't have semi-sweet chocolate for the ganache so I used 5 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate bar, 1/4 c. white sugar and 6 Tbsp. condensed milk to mix with the ganache ingredients. We ate it right away and it was delicious.
I tried baking this cake today. The cake was baked really well: soft, moist n spongy. I was very happy considering I am new to baking. Even the chocolate whipped cream turned out to be great (made it for the 1st time). But it went wrong when I went to cut the cake into 2 layers :-( I did not got it right n so I had to spik further steps n I assembled the cake the way it was when taken out of oven and covered it with chocolate whipped cream and topped it with coco chips. N even so it treated heaven. Now I really wonder how amazing the end results would have been had I been able to follow your recipe till the end.. Great recipes you provide us with. Thanks a ton!

My cake had turned very soft and tasty :) Thank you very much However the truffles dint work coz it never came out like how you showed in the video so decorated it with some chocolate sprinklers :)

This recipe is awesome.The chocolate cake is so delicious.My cake did deflate though as soon as it came out of the oven. Nevertheless the texture was still good and the cake tasted great.Will practice harder on it to perfect my technique for this chiffon cake.Thank you for your detailed and informative video as always.

+yeng928 There are a few reasons for a dome shape. Could your oven be running a little hot? You could buy a free standing oven thermometer to double check your oven's calibration. Other reasons are over mixing of the batter or the wrong type of flour or too much flour in the batter.
