Glad to be of service! I only use copics so I can't really recommend any other brands but I hear good things about prismacolor and utrecht
I'd love to see a how to video on drawing these traditional faces and women like the cow girls, pin ups, etc. Thanks for these awesome videos! I've been anxious to learn to how draw/paint traditional flash and these have helped a lot!
Cheers, will check them out mate
Thanks for all the videos... they are really helping me along. Just wondered if I could send you some of my work for you to take a look at? I'm really new to using these copic pens so be gentle hahaha...
thanks for the tips! I find your videos helpful and right to the point. 1 question though do you blend color with the c1 copic as well
super helpful video!!!!!
Yepp!
Cheers mate!
Hey just a quick question, when I went to my local art store they didn't have the Copic markers but they did have Prisma's. I was wondering of you have used Prisma's, and if you knew what the Grey scale color equivalent from Copic's to Prisma's is. 100, C7, C5, and C1. For me the 100% black is a Pm 98 and the coolest/lightest is a Pm 108. Everything up from Pm 108 gets darker Pm 116 being the darkest before reaching Pm 98. Awesome video also!
Super helpfull! Hey man, can you recomend another good brand of markers other than copic?
Daller Rowney 300gsm Cold Pressed (NOT) thanks glad you like it!
what paper do use dude? thanks love the work!!
Ciao for sure, I have a link in the description to the exact type I use
one question! how do u guys decide where to shade darker n where not to? can u please do a video on like how do you decide where to shade n stuff? im really suck at this part.thanks
I use water colour paper, there is links in the description to all the products I recommend
It would work but if you stained it afterwards the water colour would run so it depends on if you stain or not
S'all good dude!
Where do you use the colorless blender? And how do you fade say red into yellow?
Is there an equivalent set of Copic Ciao markers in the states? I can't find the same one on the US amazon
can you do coffee stains with on the marker?
Which paper would you recommen for copic pens? ? Iv tried card stock and seems to work well.. but was curious what u use.
you think similar shading can be done with neutral grey copics?
Would it be weird to use the markers to shade then watercolor for color?
what markers do you recommend if someone cant afford a full arsenal of copic markers
what paper do you use?
do you recommend copic sketch or ciao markers?
how does colorless blender work with black?
doesn't starting with a darker colour bleed into your lighter markers when you go over it? or does that not apply with using copic markers?
Well it's permanent ink so not really but if it does happen a tiny bit its only helps the blend
Fancy seein u here
I only use 9 copics so it's not that much to get set up if you're going to be doing basic traditional stuff. I just use the black and greys in this a colourless blender, red, yellow, green and brown. I haven't used any other brands so can't really recommend anything else
Never done a colab before! I might have to take a look at the prismas but my stuff is so basic that I don't really need anything more than what I have
do you still got a visible lines between each pen?
jestzawszespoko no
damn copic marker tips are nice, like a brush. i've had about 100 prisma color markers for a few years but i'd rather have 100 copic. dat marker tip
I'm changing my website and URL at the moment so my email wont work for a few weeks but you can message me on here if you like
No problem, let me know if you think of anything else you would like to see!
copics are dull they suck and are expensive
sorry man, copics are awesome. It's all about patience...... and money. The only thing that sucks about Copic is the price tags
