Hello Kai. I am a spanish nurse. In case of Spain, it is 4 years of universitary studies to obtain a nursing degree. The studies are hard, as they combine practices in hispitals and classes, with study at home. Do not despair. We've all been through that. Believe in yourself. In the exam, read the entire content of the questions very well, and underline what is important in each question. Cheer up future nurse!
Having done two bachelor degrees, i have learnt that exams are just an institutional way of testing who is good at school. The real test is the work, handling the people, caring and treating them. The motivation behind the work and the empathy while doing the work. Failing an exam does NOT mean you cannot do the job. Keep going, practice how to take the exam and train your stamina. Hello Kai! thank you very much for sharing your exam results, I was happy just to see the video announcement. When I saw it and you said you failed I thought I hope you don't get discouraged because next time you will surely do better, besides an exam does not in any way measure the ability of a professional and you have all the potential to be an excellent nurse in the future. kai, dont worry! you got this the next time :) keep your head up, the nclex exam will always be there and sooner than you think, you’ll pass with flying colors on your way into a promising career!! ❤
I am 62 now and a retired registered nurse. I started my training ( I’m English in the UK ) at 18 and sat my finals at 21 … I failed. I was so so upset thinking it was just the end of the world. We had three chances and the second time I passed. You WILL get there 100%. Then you will be telling younger training nurses who have failed that they can do it and not to give up. If we all got everything the first time we tried we would not appreciate things the same. Once your qualified the world is your oyster ( that’s what my mum said to me and she was right ) good luck, you will be a fabulous registered nurse and the patients lucky to have you.
I loved watching your vlog while cooking. I really appreciate your humor. And your dad's message is so encouraging, you're so lucky to have your parents to support you.
Success is built on failures. By failing we learn how to improve. Staying persistent and keep moving forward is what I tell myself. You got this and you will succeed! Your videos have been really helpful and love how transparent and genuine you are. I'm at a stage of my life where I discovered a new passion, and I plan to go back to school. It's been a challenge and I'm currently working on getting the pre-requistes to meet the admission requirements. 6 more weeks of grinding before I take my test.
You got this! The NCLEX isn't easy at all. I'm got about a year left into my nursing program and it is rough, but don't give up. Failure isn't what determines your success. I'm sure you're a wonderful nurse and its going to show! Put your 100% and you can pass, you'll do great! Take the time you need to study also take a break every now and then too. Personally I think the best thing you can do is remind yourself you got this far, there is no giving up now. You can only go up from here. Wishing you the best :)
Kai I have full faith that you'll pass the exam next time and you should too. Just remember that success is not final; failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts. You've got this! keep going!💗💗
watching this video felt so relieving. i didn’t do so well on my teas and felt like it was the end of the world but now im trying to think of things differently! i hope you take time for yourself and don’t rush the healing process. good luck with your next attempt you got this!!
I moved to NJ from Topeka (fellow Midwesterner). And I worked in lower Manhattan. HATED IT! Then the Flatiron District and I just loved the city. It’s so pricey to live there but if you have help at first it’s doable. Enjoy your 20s and don’t ever say, ‘I failed’. Keep your head up and be alive. And know that you won’t always have obstacles to achieving your dreams.
You did great! You tried and you did your best. I’m glad you still have a good spirit and are trying harder than before! I want to be a nurse as well ever since I was a child and I look up to you and admire your study effort and how even know you failed you will do better after you try again!
happy 2024 Kai !! I’m sorry you didn’t pass the exam, but I’m super glad you’re not letting your mistakes define you and you’re pushing through so you can pass it this time :) I totally get the struggle with balancing school and life, and I can’t even imagine trying to film on top of that. thank you for always keeping us updated but feel free to take as much time off as you need so you can do well. like you said, none of us are perfect but it’s the motivation that counts :)
wow, its hard to share failure, it just shows the amount of self confidence and perseverance you have. you got this far, im 100% sure you can achieve whatever you put your mind to. thank you for sharing this, and know that we are all rooting for you!
Hey, stay strong nursing is a very stressful course just be happy and put yourself first. I remember taking my licensing exam last year and it was a horrible time in my life. I wish you well as you retake the test. Success and hope to hear great news
I'm in my final semester of cardiac sonography school and got a giggle out of the nursing songs your gf played. I knew the answers immediately. On a serious note, I have my credentialing to take once I'm done as well and I'm low key panicking.
I am sorry to hear this but remember that testing does not always reflect the knowledge you have. You can do it! Keep your main focus on preparing for the next time you take the test, you may need to put some endeavors on the back burner for a little while and come back to them later. I took the test 30 years ago but I remember the pressure when it came to test time so clearly. You’ve got this, I believe in you. I will look forward to the day when I can call you my fellow R.N. !
Remember nursing is a journey. There is no such thing as a perfect start or a perfect ending. It is all about the in between and what you make out it, a thing called life. So keep thriving and living it the best you can. Kai you got this!!!
I love how positive you are about this as you should. Its OK to feel like this but you know you have to believe in yourself and I believe in you. You go long way! :)
Hi , There’s only one sentence to say don’t give up , you have got a heart of gold and a mind so bright you will get there in the end and you be a Fantastic Nurse and more so just keep trying take care of yourself. Xx💕💕🤗🤗xx
Sometimes we have to fail in something we care about to realize just how much it meant to us. I had a lot of setbacks in my early twenties and Lord knows it drove me crazy thinking I was a failure while my friends all went ahead without me. But time made me realize that it was a necessary setback to reach who I am today at the end of my twenties. You are still very young and have plenty of time, so don't let these unexpected setbacks bother you too much. The NCLEX is not easy and many people fail it the first time, as well. It doesn't mean you are a bad nurse or not meant for that path. You WILL pass. Stay strong and be confident.
Failures may cause delays, delays can be blessings in disguises. You’ve worked so hard. Give yourself a break. Enjoy the little things to reground yourself. You are an amazing and intelligent human being. Don’t be hard on yourself. We are all so proud of you and your journey. We will be with you as you continue to move forward 🥰
no WAYY!! I'm commenting in advance but I've been waiting to hear the results!!! I start nursing in March all I hear it is OK to not PASS like it sucks but it's ok (not ideal) I hope I pass the N-CLEX. You got this buddy!!
I’m so sorry darling but you tried your best I’m still so proud of you working hard just because you failed once doesn’t mean you won’t succeed the next time just keep working hard and get some rest when you really need it like a charge of new energy I’m very proud of you for working hard I believe in you always ❤️❤️
Hey!! I know you are fully motivated and I just wanna say to you if ever in this journey you feel things tough.. just remember universe is pulling you behind because it wants to aim you higher ( ref. if you ever played angry bird/launching games you always stretch the string hard so they launch high).. things going to be best because you are not giving up.. BTW I too have my exam in a week and I'm quite nervous bt I know if not this then next... I have a lot potential.. Lots of love and support❤ Fighting!!
I'd rather a nurse who failed, is resilient and persevered, over a nurse who never failed but was unmotivated and fragile. Failure is one of life's biggest teachers and one of the most important parts of life.
Giving the exam again in a way makes you have the experience once which means you kinda know the situation inside the exam hall more than you did before I'm sure it's only going to help in some or the other way :)) All the best for everything ❤🍀🪄 you got this ! As small as it could be every step counts!! Just keep going💪🏻💪🏻✨
Hi Kai! I passed my license exam using archer and found it really helpful! A few of my friends who started with UWorld said they were having a hard time with it because it had rationales that were hard to grasp. I introduced them to Archer and they found it super helpful and made the switch to Archer! Everyone is different, but just thought Id share in case you want to give it a try! Best of luck, you got this!
Hi kai!! You can make it! Do practice exam at least 85 a day. I used uworld for 2 months, used the qbanks 100% and watched lecture videos 3 times. Graduated last 2014, Passed the nclex last november. I am from. the Philippines currently pursuing New York. I made it so can you❤❤❤
Hey Kai I just subscribed to your UA-cam channel today I gotta say your a great guy keep up the great work and pursue your nursing career and UA-cam career there’s more amazing adventures becoming your way near the future ❤
So proud how you took failure and took it as a challenge instead of quitting! Loved how you realized the reason you failed and instead of making excuses , you choose to fix those and work extra hard man! Super proud of you , rooting you for killing the exam brooo love you ❤❤❤
Hi Kai!! Thank you for sharing your experience! Taking Nclex is not easy especially all the preparations you have to make to take the exam. However I admire your motivation and dedication! You are right, you just have to get back to your momentum, if studying gets too much try to take a break or do it the next day. I passed my NCLEx last year on my first try but I studied intensely for a whole month before taking my exam. I used Archer and Remar Review. I was also the same with practice questions getting 50s but as long as you understand and read the rationale you will be fine. I have faith you will pass on the next one!🙏🏼 You can do it!!! 💪🏼
0:24 just btw your tattoos looked SO good in that moment I love them so much. Also I’m really proud of you for not giving up! It’s super inspiring and I know you can do it!
I am not going to lie failure builds you and helps you understand better. I have failed a lot and will keep trying my best to do better and learn different ways to grow and be better than before. I understand when people say they fail. Its not easy.
Your dad's message was so sweet. Maybe, you could get a study group or tutor to help you with your studying for the test. Best of luck with your next test.
if there is one thing I learned from failing a quarter in nursing school is give yourself GRACE!!!!! this will not define you, this doesn't make you a bad nurse, its just a extra chapter in your book of life. This will only make you stronger and trust me I know it doesn't feel like it, but you WILL. BE. STRONGER. God's plan is always different from our plan. You've got this Kai and you'll be an amazing nurse!!!!
I don’t know if you ever have trouble falling asleep. And of course, do your own research! But I like taking calcium, magnesium, niacin (500mg of specifically the nicotinic acid form of B3) and lemon balm, about an hour before I go to bed. I get the St. Francis Herb Farm’s organic lemon balm tincture, which might be easily available to you because they’re based in Ontario. The niacin might make your skin a bit flushed and tingly, but I find it relaxing. I take 1ml of the tincture, but it’s pretty gentle, as far as I have experienced, so you could take more. I was taking 6ml/day, at one point. But I like to take only as much as I need of something, so now I take 2ml total, including one in the morning. I’m so sorry you went through the experience of failing the first time. That’s a huge blow 😮. You’re handling it so well and you totally got this!!
Good luck with your exam. You'll pass, for sure! I'm with you on the shoe thing. I actually bought disposable slippers for visitors. My friends automatically take their shoes off.
failing is part of progress, it will make you a better and more successful person later on in life . trust the process AND its meant to be. you got this , now or later , you will achieve everything and anything you want , i garntee it bud

Aww, ir father is soo cute.. my asian parents are very present in my who journey of education, i know that because i have rhe potential, i will always strive for the perfect score, so when i dont get what i want (even tho its still good) i can get very slumped, but my parents trust me so have never had to push me or put me down, all ghey say is to forgwt about it and focuz on the next thing. Sometimes i get really mervous before results, but honestly their prayers make a big difference and im blessed to have such a supporting family. From all ofy 5 siblings, everyone expected me to go to med school, but just before i applied, i had a chnage of heart, my parents supported me and continue to support me in my accounting and finance degree.. best of luck everyone ❤❤
Try not to look too much at the score, but rather the content area. The good thing is that you sort of know how the NCLEX will test you now - if you kept seeing pediatric development questions on the nclex, then that's a sign that the test is trying to see if you can figure out the question and move on. I'd also recommend you not doing too many questions the day prior because if you start seeing low scores, that'll mess with your mind and confidence. Like maybe do one test then stop - chill for the rest of that day. You got this!
this is vry encouraging i’ve had a rly crappy year (getting diagnosed w/ epilepsy and having a broken arm w/ ten screws in it definitely wasn’t needed lol 😆) and this is one of the most important years as a South African student in high school thx so much for sharing this with us and this vlog is very motivating 💕
I feel your frustration. The feeling of failing after putting in hours of work is heartbreaking. I go for RN 4th attempt next week. I'm scared as hell. But i will not let this test win. I know i am capable 😌 💯 🙂
Frustration is a very positive sign. It means that the solution to your problem is within range, but what you're currently doing isn't working, and you need to change your approach in order to achieve your goal.
@ very correct I studied with my cousin, but she spent more time on her phone than studying. Despite this, she passed the NCLEX test while I failed. When I asked her how she did it, I found out that she received help from Mr Richard.

I love that you have the passion and desire to help young people with acne and skin care and I am sure that in the future you will be able to fulfill that beautiful purpose.👏✨ Cheer up dear Kai, I encourage you from a distance 💪🔥🫡🫂
You guys make me want to share it!!’ So supportive ❤
It’s okay darling! I finished my career back in 2019 and just now I’m getting my license to be a psychologist. You’ll do good at your own time :)
kai, dont worry! you got this the next time :) keep your head up, the nclex exam will always be there and sooner than you think, you’ll pass with flying colors on your way into a promising career!! ❤
With promising career I love that ❤❤
I am 62 now and a retired registered nurse.
Don't worry bae better luck next time keep working hard and study hard also take care about you and we are always here with you so fr don't worry
I loved watching your vlog while cooking. I really appreciate your humor.
And your dad's message is so encouraging, you're so lucky to have your parents to support you.
Going through a very similar moment as you right now. It sucks but we’ll pass this next time. Your dad’s message legit made me cry 😭💓
Failure is not fatal I love that 😊
watching this video felt so relieving. i didn’t do so well on my teas and felt like it was the end of the world but now im trying to think of things differently! i hope you take time for yourself and don’t rush the healing process. good luck with your next attempt you got this!!
You've got this, Kai!!! Thank you for being so open and sharing this with everyone.
Thank you guys for the amazing support and love ❤
I moved to NJ from Topeka (fellow Midwesterner). And I worked in lower Manhattan. HATED IT! Then the Flatiron District and I just loved the city. It’s so pricey to live there but if you have help at first it’s doable.
Enjoy your 20s and don’t ever say, ‘I failed’. Keep your head up and be alive. And know that you won’t always have obstacles to achieving your dreams.
I will take my NCLEX soon. I hope you will pass on the second time. Keep practice and study. 😊 Be strong 💪
You did great! You tried and you did your best. I’m glad you still have a good spirit and are trying harder than before! I want to be a nurse as well ever since I was a child and I look up to you and admire your study effort and how even know you failed you will do better after you try again!
Thank you for sharing this video!!
I’m so afraid to fail my exams but you showed me that it’s okey to fail and I’m not alone!!
happy 2024 Kai !! I’m sorry you didn’t pass the exam, but I’m super glad you’re not letting your mistakes define you and you’re pushing through so you can pass it this time :)
I totally get the struggle with balancing school and life, and I can’t even imagine trying to film on top of that. thank you for always keeping us updated but feel free to take as much time off as you need so you can do well. like you said, none of us are perfect but it’s the motivation that counts :)
Cant stop when I have you guys supporting my way thru it!!
wow, its hard to share failure, it just shows the amount of self confidence and perseverance you have. you got this far, im 100% sure you can achieve whatever you put your mind to. thank you for sharing this, and know that we are all rooting for you!
Those tests are extremely difficult. Take it again until you pass. ❤ You got this.
WILL do😊😊
Hey, stay strong nursing is a very stressful course just be happy and put yourself first. I remember taking my licensing exam last year and it was a horrible time in my life. I wish you well as you retake the test. Success and hope to hear great news
Keep your spirits up and stay motivated! You can and will do it!
Awwww these are so supportive and inspiring!! I feel so loved ❤❤
@@Hwaniiee you are loved! Don’t forget it! Show yourself grace!
You'll be a great nurse, failing is a part of life. You got this, you doing great it's just another learning experience.
no WAYY!! I'm commenting in advance but I've been waiting to hear the results!!! I start nursing in March all I hear it is OK to not PASS like it sucks but it's ok (not ideal) I hope I pass the N-CLEX. You got this buddy!!
U world helped me! Doesn’t matter, just take it again when u ready! You will do it!
Sometimes it’s a hidden blessing bcos it could divert u to another direction in life where u will excel in it 😊
I’m so sorry darling but you tried your best I’m still so proud of you working hard just because you failed once doesn’t mean you won’t succeed the next time just keep working hard and get some rest when you really need it like a charge of new energy I’m very proud of you for working hard I believe in you always ❤️❤️
Lots of love and support❤
Fighting!!
I'd rather a nurse who failed, is resilient and persevered, over a nurse who never failed but was unmotivated and fragile. Failure is one of life's biggest teachers and one of the most important parts of life.
You’re doing great! I know you will continue to do great in your nursing program and from what I can see you have a beautiful support system!❤️
A true failure is when give up on trying again💪
We are all humans. Still you remain as an inspiration to some of us watching your journey.
It’s ok don’t let this failure set you back, you can definitely come back stronger ❤
That's the plan!💕
Giving the exam again in a way makes you have the experience once which means you kinda know the situation inside the exam hall more than you did before I'm sure it's only going to help in some or the other way :)) All the best for everything ❤🍀🪄 you got this ! As small as it could be every step counts!! Just keep going💪🏻💪🏻✨
Don’t give up. Just practice doing the test questions and all your hard work will pay off.
Super proud of you , rooting you for killing the exam brooo love you ❤❤❤
Its ok kai because honestly, you are so real for the butt wipes thing and honestly we dont mind if you fail
My sister failed two times nursing school and now she is one of the best nurses in her section ❤❤❤
Never give up sir👍🙏🏻 try and try again till you succeed! God bless you sir and don’t be sad, you can do it 👍👍👍
Failing is part of learning. Just don’t give up!
if there is one thing I learned from failing a quarter in nursing school is give yourself GRACE!!!!! this will not define you, this doesn't make you a bad nurse, its just a extra chapter in your book of life.
You can try it again.Failure can make you stronger and bounce back three times stronger than the 1st time.Just keep going.
I just love the way you share everything with us...how sweet of you..❤😊
failing is part of progress, it will make you a better and more successful person later on in life . trust the process AND its meant to be. you got this , now or later , you will achieve everything and anything you want , i garntee it bud
You got it! Don't give up! We are all rooting for you.
aw parents truly don’t know how heavy their inspiring words mean to us.. you got this!
Means so much than they know
It’s ok take it again. It’s ok to rest but never give up! You can do it
Kai, with perseverance and effort you will pass the exam the next time you take it. I send you lots of good energy. ✨
Go for it! ❤
Thank you! Will do!😎😎
Don't worry my friend.. do better next time.. you can do that.. YOU CAN.. I BELIEVE IN YOU..
Those simple nursing songs are a bop. 🤣 his videos were my content for my nclex too and also nursing crusade international has alot of strategies on how to answer nclex questions. Good luck on your exam!
Don’t give up bro. I failed ielts 3 times before passing oet. There will be a right time. God bless.
bro ur young you got time to be whatever you want to be but thats coming from someone that lives in the hood so take ur time you doing way better than me and alot 0f other ppl pass or fail! love from the dirty south Atlanta ga.
Also , congratulations on your new apartment ❤️☺️ I swear there's nothing like your own space. Definitely major !
this is vry encouraging i’ve had a rly crappy year (getting diagnosed w/ epilepsy and having a broken arm w/ ten screws in it definitely wasn’t needed lol 😆) and this is one of the most important years as a South African student in high school thx so much for sharing this with us and this vlog is very motivating 💕
I have failed this, more then 3 times and my emotions go in waves, i think passing Nclex is not meant for people like me 😭 😢 😕 😐 😔 💔 😭 😢 😕 😐 😔
I also failed on my 3rd attempt just last week. Its ridiculous, I've been studying and its all for nothing😢😭
@ very correct
I studied with my cousin, but she spent more time on her phone than studying. Despite this, she passed the NCLEX test while I failed. When I asked her how she did it, I found out that she received help from Mr Richard.
Please does anyone know who this Mr Richard is? I really need to speak with him l'm frustrated
Life goes on ✨
And on and on and on and on and
Yeah dont be sad and dont give up we support you ❤❤ 😊😊
This reminds me of when I failed the entrance exam to the best medical university in my country ://. The worst thing was the shame I felt for having disappointed my parents. My plan B was the fourth best in the country and I'm on it.💪💪Hopefully with a full scholarship!!! YOU ALWAYS INSPIRE ME 🤍
