THANK YOU! As a brand new homeschooling mom Math is the most intimidating subject. I chose right start so I could learn mathematics along with my kids. You as a math educator are making me feel confident in my decision. I am also overwhelmed with all the stuff. I ran to Amazon to buy the photo organizer. appreciate you and thank you for giving confidence to a stranger.
My friend told me about the storage box from Michael's. It works beautifully. I have everything else (larger manipulatives/supplies and books in one bin, so everything is in just two places. It's working well. We do not have shelving for school yet as we decided late summer to start. We will have customs (basic customs;) built soon. The scale will go on our furniture that holds baskets and toys which is our focal wall where I have a fun board for banners. I watched your video on this math curriculum when I was going through a dozen of them. I am glad we chose this one. We are still trying to visualize numbers 6-9. It's a struggle for my 6 1/2 yo. Any tips are appreciated!
Julie Sanders since RSM has such a spiral approach I usually keep going if my son doesn’t totally grasp a concept because I know it’ll be reinforced over and over in future lessons. And some days instead of doing a lesson from the book we’ll just play games from previous lessons to help with practice.
I am really interested in using Right Start Math but also plan to start worldschooling in a few years from now. I wonder if it’s possible to (slow) travel with this curriculum in tow…?
It really depends on how much space you have to store it or how long you’ll be gone. If you have space for a tote to store it in then you could take it all with you. Or if you’re coming home every few weeks you could just look ahead to future lessons and pull out only the manipulatives you’ll need for those lessons while you’re gone then switch it out when you come home.

That looks so well organized! Great storage solution.
This is my first ever UA-cam comment. That photo box thing is genius! I ordered one right away. Also, try sorting the tiles by color? Just a thought.
