Mica's ex-husband needs to be investigated for her death. How he was able to walk free after all the abuse she endured is beyond me.
Women need better laws to protect them from emotional, mental, and physical abuse. Mica didn't have a mental health problem.
She had mental health problems from years of trauma and abuse.

So she bought the gun herself and called 911 saying she was going to kill herself. What is the mystery here?

He followed her and told her to meet him one more time....and she did.Or followed her cause eventually her tire go flat and he d be there.But he will probably get off cause her past had suicide attmpets .I wonder if this pastor guy had girlfriend and how old are his 5 kids?

The husband killed her, end of story. We've seen SO many of these missing/dying women stories to know that the first natural suspects are the husbands/boyfriends. These cases piss me off BIG time. Instead of resolving problems like normal people like going to counseling or therapy, some asshole decides that murder is the best solution, IT'S NOT! Better to cut your losses and just break up or divorce and simply move on to someone better. Just my advice

End of story? You don't know for sure. Maybe he did, but maybe he didn't. That's what investigations are for. Plenty of innocent people have gone to prison. Jumping to conclusions doesn't help anything.
So even after seeing the video where she leaves home by herself, goes to buy a g*n and then proceeds to drive to the park (again, alone) and calls 911 so her family knows where to find her body, you still think he killed her?. I agree with the further investigation and while I don't doubt her husband was abusive, she seems to have clearly unalived herself

Peculiar to talk about your almost divorced spouse like you were still together and making a huge part of her posthumous identity your marriage is beyond bizarre. It’s definitely okay to talk about the death of an ex partner in a respectful manner but to do it the way he’s done especially in her obituary is just plain disrespect.
He was so worried about his wife that his alibi is his girlfriend. A lot wrong with this entire event. # justice for Mica
And that wasn’t his first rodeo. His first wife divorced him because he was having multiple affairs. One was with Mica. It’s sad, but what goes around comes around. JP is dangerous. He twists scripture to manipulate and control people, like Satan himself.
People also have to remember just because she was making plans,it doesn't mean she wasn't also thinking about ending herself. Not everyone looks obviously depressed, sometimes you can't tell someone's running out of hope and is thinking of ending it. She bought the gun, so maybe she did end it herself and just wanted to make sure her body would be found. Sometimes you can look totally fine yet you're fighting your own demons.
She made a 911 call stating what she was about to do she purchased a gun the same day. Now I'm not saying the guy is innocent but I am saying that there is proof that she did what she did to herself. This could be just the way to make Christianity look bad because the guy probably is a piece of s*** but I'm telling you there's plenty of proof that that girl did that herself

Unless the police can place the husband at the scene it appears to be suicide. Asking 911 if they can locate her cell implies she wanted her remains located. Lots of loose ends, having to buy a firearm may indicate she was not experienced and like many inexperienced shooters she may have found out the thing goes bang easier than expected. Needless to say, no stone needs to be left unturned.

I agree…..she’s on camera buying gun. Was she killed with the same gun?? Also she called police and stated what she was going to do. Right? Seems like the family is maybe in denial that she’d do such thing.
Maybe she bought it for protection.
It's probable that she purchased it for protection. At that point she may have felt that something bad is going to happen. He probably saw the gun, became very angry, and murdered her. So, it is possible.

When men kill themselves (more often) are there ever any investigations into their spouses?
Yes.
If it’s a suspicious death authorities will always question the spouse. Any kind of sudden death from substances, going missing or suicide are treated as a potential murder investigation. Especially if the spouse has a HIGHLY suspicious trail on themselves online or socially and it was known they were abusive or the victim voiced that they felt in danger near the end.
With cases of both men and women slowly poisoning or abusing/isolating their spouses it’s not an open and shut case. Maybe in certain states are lazy and fail to view cases seriously, but it’s the golden standard to cover all the bases.
Don’t be reductive and try to do a whataboutism with this.
