Holy shit, it just hit me! I live in Colorado and went to see a show at the Comedy Works 7 or 8 years ago and before the show started a homeless-looking guy got up on the stage and started yelling at everyone. I thought 'wtf, why is everyone laughing? Why is management letting this homeless guy rant?' It wasn't until a minute or two in set that I realized that was the opening act and it wasn't until just now that I realized it was William Montgomery.
This was a good one! I still miss Casey’s podcast I hope it comes back soon. My robot voice is coming along quite swimmingly I might add. My fiancé doesn’t like it but she’s no ear for robot voice stuff anyway I don’t even care.
i think its highgly related to the mic choice and unfortunately the hosts distance from the mic is due to how the sensitivity acts and is also why they sound good quality mostly. in audio its always gives for takes.
