It is very unlikely unless it is an old model. All manufacturers follow a unified Chassis number system.

Thank you Habeebji. There are few paid sites where you can find such details but most of them are country specific. Unfortunately there are no such comprehensive data available as far as I know. However, you can decode most of the information using Wikibooks. See link below:
