Teachers' salaries are the highest in over a decade. Why it's still not enough

  • A new study from the National Education Association reported the highest salaries for teachers in 14 years. Calculated against inflation though, it drops below levels in 2008 and 2009.

    $63K isn't bad for working 9 months of the year.

      Thats way too much for working half the year and basically just babysitting

    Teachers can barely afford to live in Utah. I think the salaries have gotten so much better and are much better than surrounding states, but cost of living in Utah is extremely expensive.
