Teachers' salaries are the highest in over a decade. Why it's still not enough

A new study from the National Education Association reported the highest salaries for teachers in 14 years. Calculated against inflation though, it drops below levels in 2008 and 2009.

Teachers can barely afford to live in Utah. I think the salaries have gotten so much better and are much better than surrounding states, but cost of living in Utah is extremely expensive.
