After reading these comments: The point of the show was that he genuinely thought he was a psychopath, but turned out to be just to be a social outcast who was numbed by his disappointment in the people around him - The girl is exactly like him, but expresses it in the opposite extroverted way. That's what made him turn around and that's why people were rooting for them: they're a great fit in an unusual way. And yes, if you don't like dry British humor this is NOT a show for you.

idc what anyone says this is the best show on netflix, it tells a perfect love story in my opinion, it has tragedy, humor, heart break, and most of all brittsh accents. They are so cute together, and mesh perfectly. The dry humor is objectively bad, but i found it enjoyable.
This show is a masterpiece. You cant predict whats going to happen in the next 10 seconds and i fucking love it. And Alyssa character, woow. I hope i find a girl like her one day. One that when she is upset just tells you "fuck off", leaves and 5 minutes later shes fine. No playing games, goes straight to the truth.
The complete deadbeat tone in which they deliver their lines is what gets me everytime, and it makes events where they express emotions even more precious. This has some of the best dark humour i have ever seen, what a show!

Watching this I noticed, that theres a huge benefit in watching series drunk You can watch it a second time and still spit out your food laughing because you dont remember SHIT
Basically it's about a girl with depression, feelings of emptiness and trust issues who hates the world because she thinks its fake and pretentious. She becomes friends with an emotionally disturbed social misfit boy because she thinks he's more real than every one else she's ever met and they go on a massive road trip breaking laws and etc. To be fair some of the laws they broke were in self defense. It's really good. I'd binge watch both seasons.
I still would, even though she's northern and doesn't speak properly whilst murdering the English language. I'd just ask her to whisper "I heart you" in a South Yorkshire accent after I failed to make her reach the peak
