Love these type of videos. I just got a Cricut and having hard time with design space. I just don't understand it. People make such cute envelopes and always wonder how.
Design space IS confusing! I'm only making basic labels so I'm not sure how to do the complex stuff. The thing that was most frustrating with the free version is once you save and close your project, you can't go back in and see or edit the details. I guess the $8/month is worth it for the extra fonts & features.
I've seen a lot of people use Canva to design and then upload. I think she mentioned it in this video. Canva is a lot easier! You might want to try that. That is what I am going to do.
@@budgetwithjosie I haven't decided yet 🤔 I'm not sure if I should try Etsy or put up a website for custom orders. I figure I would at least share how I make them for anyone who wants to DIY.
I only have the joy model and it works for any type of label I would make for a cash envelope. The maximum width it will cut is 4.5" and I have a mat that will do projects up to 12" long. The other nice thing about the joy is you can cut without a mat if you use the cricut joy smart vinyl. That can do projects up to 4' long. If I was doing a high volume of cutting for a business, I'd probably upgrade to the larger machine, but the joy does everything I need for budgeting ☺
@@jacobiacoulter346 It's still a work in progress, but if you watch this video it will show the categories I have so far ua-cam.com/video/F5XAtRelsuM/v-deo.html
I get my fonts from Creative Fabrica and other sites. My current faves are Lemon Crush and Cake Pop.
Very enjoyable, thank you!

@@meechiebudgets3442 I pay for the design space $9.99 I believe. I’ve had it since day one.
@@renatar There are a lot of tutorials on UA-cam for working with it. I just haven't had the patience to learn yet 😅
Same !!! I just stare at my machine hoping it’ll just do the work for me 😂

I love this!
Yay!! I'm so happy!
When you burn yourself like that put raw honey one it right away, it heals faster and no scar
I’ve noticed the cricket joy mats are not as sticky as the regular mats they don’t stay sticky that long
Do you use the Cricut joy or a more advanced cricut and what do you recommend for making the cash envelopes?

What is the name of the font and what size/dimensions do you make them? I think i missed where you said it
It's blueberry pancake. I did the line space as -5.5 and set it to a max width of 5.5"
I miss seeing your videos. Hope your doing ok
You didn’t push your paper all the way to the top that’s why it shifted
May I ask what category you use ?
I'm not sure what you mean by that?
Website,office supplies etc.
