Arguably the most thrilling District Final on Saturday went down between Marysville and Teays Valley. Down 3 in the 6th with bases loaded, Sienna Hutchins sent the Monarchs ahead with a hard hit grand slam.
Despite taking the lead, Teays scratched back to force extras and take the District Title, 8-7, as the Monarchs close the chapter on a special 2024 season. Winners of 15 of their final 19 games, Marysville proved many wrong and came away with their 4th straight District Final appearance, claiming two titles in the process.
