- This time Arsen Kharatyan's guests for the “Building the Bridge” talks are the editors of the “Caucasus Edition” magazine, European University researcher Lala Darchinova and assistant professor at the University of San Diego Philip Gamaghelyan.
The discussion is about the role of public diplomacy (track 2, track 1,5, multi-track) in Armenian-Azerbaijani relations over the past 30 years, the importance of expertise and civil society participation in negotiations between the parties. Is there a threat of a new war? What is the limit of trust between Armenia and Azerbaijan? Is there a leading role for civil society in crafting of a possible peace agreement or creation of a safe space for reconciliation?

Thank you for this discussion
What "trucks" are they talking about?
Track 1 - is official diplomacy - when the talks are done by ministers and presidents
Track 2 - is public diplomacy or civil society diplomacy - when talks are done by experts, journalists, informal leaders, opposition.
Track 3 - is not a diplomacy strictly speaking, it’s social interactions between people, cultures, business, activists.
