UPS & Norton Healthcare Career Track

Through the Metropolitan College program and a partnership with UPS and Norton Healthcare, students can work at UPS and participate in a pathway program to a health care career.
This program offers an opportunity for a tuition-free pathway to a healthcare career from two of the area’s largest employers and community supporters. Students work for UPS while taking prerequisite courses at JCTC or UofL, and have several options to transition to a healthcare position after they are 12 to 18 months out from completing their degree. Students also will have exposure to a variety of job roles and facilities to help prepare them for the workforce after graduation.

Faith said that working at UPS was an amazing opportunity for her. She learned how to maintain a school/work balance. Knowing that she would not have college debt was a relief for her.
