i just recently got me a klx 140r not really used to it yet since its my first dirtbike along with clutch but i have been enjoying riding it
Sounds like you’re having fun!
@@AaronsEnduro yes i am enjoying it and i got to ride it and has lots of acceleration for a 140
Still on my RFZ 125! 2020 17x14. After cracking open the stock carb she's been a great little bike. running at 1100 feet on sandy ORV trails. she loves a good 30-mile loop.
Things been lasting you a lot longer than mine did!
The flowy sandy trails are easy on her. I changed the fork fluid to a heavier weight to make it stiffer. she's a proper ditch banger now. @@AaronsEnduro
@@mtbsack590 sounds like a blast!
It's the rider efforts and skills to make the dirt bike can keep up with others no matter what bikes you ride..your KLX140 can do it too..😂
Its true! 80% the rider 20% the bike!
True. After seeing Jarvis in person I believe so even more.
I rode CRf 300L with other 2 stroke dirt bikes on hard enduro sometimes.
@@AaronsEnduro definitely 🤜🤛
What kind of mount you using for GPS? Looks like its bolted to handlebar clamps.
That’s my trail tech voyager pro! Its sweet lil unit!
Yeah you alway remember the spot that put a big dent in your rig 😮😊
Sure do 😂
You running tubeless or bibs? Love the videos. Sure wish I had these kind of trails to ride here in Western NY.
Stock tubes!!! Surprisingly haven’t gotten a flat yet even at 4psi
@@AaronsEnduro no issues smacking rims on the rocks at those low pressures? I think I have 12psi in my Xtrainer with stock tubes and always worry going much less than that.
To be fair im running 4psi when i know were doing techy rides where we aren’t blasting along in 4/5/6th gear. If i was i usually run around 10-12psi. But so far ive yet to ding the rim or anything with 110hours on my bike.
Although my buddy just got some bibs in his wheels and the traction he gets is unreal… they just suck when going fast (thats jared with the sherco 300)
Why is there an engine failure light on your dashboard?
Its because i deleted the oil injection and it thinks there is an oil injection issue
what area are you riding in? looks like PNW
Sure is!
What would you pick Beta 300 xtrainer or ktm 300 xcw
Depends on your skill level and what you want out of a bike. I’ve ridden both, and they’re very different machines.
Personally id still prefer my x trainer over a 300xcw as it stands. And id probably get a 300rr beta over any ktm just cuz i like beta’s
@@AaronsEnduro just trail ride with wife and kids. I just gave my crf 250f to my youngest and my wife rides a crf250f as well. I was just wanting something a step up.thanks you for your opinion
Id pick a x trainer over the xcw in that situation
@@AaronsEnduro 24 xtrainer is only $600 less then 24 xcw 300 were I live that's the only thing holding me back now
The beauty of the xtrainer is its mellow low-end torque. If you get comfortable with it and feel you need more snap, get a performance exhaust for a noticeable power improvement.
Hi Aaron, how do you smooth out the response for slower technical riding? I have a 2022 model and might install a larger 15 tooth sprocket. Also thinking about adjusting the power valve. I feel like this bike is more for wide open trails. If I look at the throttle wrong this bike just takes off. Thanks.
This bike kinda sucks in the wide open trails, the suspension and geometry is better suited to slower technical trail riding. Ive actually geared mine down from the stock 14 tooth to a 13 tooth up front. What i will say is i ride 99% of the time in wet map power mode when in the techy single track. I only ever use the “daytime” power map on big open flow trails
And yes adjusting the power valve will make a big difference in power delivery. Currently i have my nearly all the way wound out (i have about 1 thread left i could turn it further out).
But if you wind it in 3 or 4 threads itll be much more tamed. Just dont turn it in too far or itll fall inside the power valve housing
What part of the island are you on?
South end!
at 26 seconds my dog little roger passed away there
