I still got xx the one I bought in 1999 for £250 I wonder how much it cost now? I don't wear it for years since the nose bridge a bit wobbly and dont know how to tighten it up
They go for quite a bit, maybe double and above. The flex couplers in the nose can't be tightened unless you pop thr rivets, get new couplers, and re-rivet it back.
I was bought it as most of F1 drivers wear it at that time. Iis little wobbly now and not just any opticians can fix it, so it stayed in the box. Thanks
Hello Dann !! Please, take a doubt. I bought a Metal Oakley double xx: Frame: X-METAL; Lens: Black Iridium and did not see serial number. because do not have? Thank you!
I'm from Brazil and I am a fan of the brand Oakley , wanted to return to manufacture Juliet in xx uncle 2, the Romeo 2 X squared , why now is very difficult to find glasses that in good condition.
@dthombs yes i meant the lens.. question ... a xx24k model with no serial number woudnt be worth as much as one with..a serial number correct??. i just sold mine to someone .. was just curious..
I have a few, but I could probably outline the various releases over time. Currently I'm working on getting the site back up, so most content will be pushed back a bit.
I bought tio2 with vr28 lenses for $2 at a thrift store, and they were authentic. Very good fine on my end. Can you get a tuneup if i bought it from a thrift store?
Hey I have a question: is there any known major flaw in the X-metal line's construction? I was looking at buying a set of Romeo 2s (discontinued model) but I keep seeing photos where the nosebridge is misaligned on one side. Is this a problem? Can the nosebridge get loose and is there no way to repair them?
I've had my Ti02s for well over a decade now, 2nd gen. I ordered them directly from Oakley around 2000 I believe. The nose bridge has lost all the rubber so it's kind of wobbly now, still fits well on the face. Do you know how to repair this yourself or if Oakley still does the repair?
2011. Jeez. The good old days of reviews.
New house, New kid, New job. All sort of shredded my time shortly after. Now I'm lucky to get an hour a week for something.
these are vintage now, 2023 it's a classic !
Hard to believe how time flies

Lucas Molina All X-Metal frames from 2005 and later will not have the serial numbers.
What detail do you see of an original and a replica?
Hello Dann, how are you.
I sent an email to you, with photo of glasses and model, check inbox. thanks
Hey! Any x metal for sale?

I'm looking for a pair of juliets. Should I worry if they don't have a serial?
Any after December 2005 won't have a serial.

Oakley should still be able to help out. It's a common problem.
