So I checked this band after I saw this. Never heard of these guys before Mr. Colbert said they were one of his favorite bands. “Hypotheticals “ is a fantastic song by these guys. I asked Alexa to shuffle songs from these guys and I listened to really good music for over an hour. They deserve your support if you are a fan of great music.!!!!
Brilliant bass line by Bridget Kearny. Punchy, groovy and full of flavour.

Agree here too! She is a gem, and just love this band. I recently listened to a long interview with Bridget on The Working Songwriter podcast. Was sad when it was done because she's so creative and engaging.

I love this band, and am rooting for this song to push them into the next level of success. That said, I’d hate for them to sell out to slick commercialized music.

Their cover of Shania Twain's "You're Still the One" is one of my favorites too. Rich Girl and so many others though.

Indeed. Bridget was inspired to write this song when she attended a square dancing event. BC is classically trained, experienced in jazz and down to Earth.

Saw them at the Ottawa Jazz Festival on Jun 27. The lead singer has elements in her voice that combine Bonnie Raitt and Amy Winehouse. This band is on fire. Love them. They will be superstars.

Over 15 years ago I was out singing karaoke at my local karaoke bar. Well I was standing at the bar dancing with myself when a very attractive 27ish woman walked up and asked me if I would like to dance, of course this early 50’s guy said yes. We danced about a half dozen songs. I caught the eye of a late 20’s karaoke friend who gave me a WTF look, to which I shrugged
I asked the young lady why she picked this old guy when there were lots of guys her age there, she said, “you looked safe”.
I wasn’t sure whether to be insulted, or pleased.
Be pleased. It was a HUGE compliment.
When she just wanted to dance and not look like she was flirting.
I got to see Lake Street Dive about a decade ago in Knoxville. What a GREAT concert! Been following them ever since. Glad to see them on The Late Show.
It was delightful to see the members of the band mixing with lake street dive and having a fun time.
I'll be honest, never heard of them but for crying out loud, they sound amazing! I am a new fan for life.

My daughter introduced me to this amazing band a year or so ago. I’m happy to see such talent emerging in a time when it seems hard to find. I think I was spoiled after growing up in the 60’s and 70’s when there was so much amazing music available! Great stuff. I’m happy to see them getting more attention on bigger platforms. Well deserved! 🌺✌️

I may be dating myself a little bit, but if there was a song that was tailor made for a Soul Train line, it's this one.
Bridget wrote the song and her bass line evokes James Jamerson, the iconic bassist on many recordings from Motown Records.

Forgot they've been around that long. I first heard of them in 2017. Got into them in 2020. Saw them with my wife at Red Rocks in 2022.
wow, that was early. I first saw them in that YT video of them singing "I want you back" on the sidewalk. That was probably 2012 or so. Been following them ever since, but have not seen them live yet!

This will go straight up the the charts. The sensational soulful sound of the beautiful Rachael Price may finally be discovered by the masses. I know her as the daughter of the composer and conductor Tom Price.
