London Watch Prowling!

Rob takes the train from Manchester to London to go watch shopping. Stops include Casio G-Shock, Bucherer in Covent Garden, Bond Street, Omega, Cartier, Grand Seiko, Vacheron Constantin, Montblanc, lunch in Soho at Taro, Royal Opera House, Girard Perregaux, Burlington Arcade for vintage Rolex, Fortnum & Mason, Maison Assouline bookshop, and finally, Big Easy Barbeque for dinner, all before returning to Manchester. It was an action-packed day!

Was visiting London during Christmas market season. Checked out a few watch stores. Terrible place for Americans to buy a watch. Higher asking prices and no VAT refund. I bought a watch in Frankfurt. 19% VAT refund. It's like paying grey market prices at the authorized dealer.
