@@NursesToRiches Done✅ even though I’m not working in the states yet as I’m waiting for my green card, you’ve helped me tremendously about US Nursing, tips and salaries, thank you Jason!
Thank you for what you do bro. my wife and I got job in Redding. We are moving this January. we live and work in Dallas now. trust me the expenses here in DFW is too much now after the inflation but the salary did not move much. We Thanks for your spreadsheet that was very helpful for our decision.
@@NursesToRiches yeah we choose the area because we are tired of the traffic. DFW traffic is like LA. We choosed Redding for a change and a bit slow paced life. But one thing is for sure we will earn more than our salary here in Texas.
This is amazing. I wish there was someone like you for other professions. I’m in the military and I’m thinking about going to nursing school (law is more of my passion.) whenever I watch your videos I feel very drawn to the financial security, flexibility and versatility within nursing. Thank you for this information.
I appreciate you taking the time to watch and leave a comment! I think the reason why the majority of people don't talk publicly about their salaries is because they don't want to come off as boastful and out of touch with the fact that one in three Americans is living paycheck to paycheck.
Love this breakdown, interested in using this to compare living in upstate NY to moving to Fort Lauderdale. Going to use this, thanks for the good informational video.
@@NursesToRiches Super helpful video. ✨ Thanks for sharing and good luck on the nursing podcast host award. It’s more than deserved. I’d also benefit from some LPN content as well.

the home prices in oakland are nowhere nearrrrr what you are getting quoted at. also Oakland is a nogo for so many reasons it would take an hour video to explain
These are median numbers. Therefore, half the homes will cost more than the number I've listed and half will cost less. This data is tracked on a daily basis by zillow and they sell it at a cost to anyone who wants access to it. Even if you were to search for homes in Oakland California on any website (redfin.com, realtor.com, etc.), you would see that these home prices are correct. Also, I totally agree that I, too, would not want to live in Oakland, which is why I've included crime data in the spreadsheet as well.
Every year you go up a step until you get to step 5. Then, you stay at step 5 until you've worked for Kaiser for 8 years. But you still get inflation adjustment raise every year which the CNA bargained for in the negotiations.
