- Hi Miku figure collectors! Another Miku figure got cloned by bootleg manufacturers. So today, I'm gonna show you a fake Vs real Rapunzel Miku figure comparison video!
We will talk about the differences such as packaging, colours, details and all the things that are easy to spot when buying figures whether online or on hand.

i got the bootleg as a birthday gift 😭 but the pro is that i didn’t even know it was a bootleg, mine is honestly not too bad looking for your average bootleg. the only places where the lack of quality are clear is on the hair and the dress.
Honestly I love the Wonderland figures, they're all so cute. Sadly I only got 2 of them (Cinderella and Snow white), and I've been planning to get Rapunzel next.

@@insertcreativeusernamehere9900 I have Cinderella and she is by far my favorite Miku figure! Considering I only have 2 though 🤣I also have the café Miku and she is also very nice. I have the spring fairy Miku coming in this month, and the noodle stopper heart anime girl or something Miku coming in the end of November or early December.
Seems like it would be an interesting project to fix up the bootleg with some modeling putty, drill and install a metal rod support inside the leg, and give it a custom paint job.
That's a promising project. To make it look better but I'm afraid if that's a good idea. 50/50 on it because of the harmful toxic materials they used for the product. Idk if it's safe to manipulate it and do revisions. Especially if you're gonna seal some holes with reheating. 🤔

My friend bought a fake Miku Rapunzel, but we expected that such a beautiful Miku wouldn't come, but the copy is just perfect, totally different from the one in the video! The doll is completely faithful to the real thing, it was worth buying, I'm waiting for mine! :3

I had a question. Do you have any tips on putting figurines back into their box? Since I have to move out and temporarly live elsewhere not all my figures will be able to be on display. So in the boxes to go. But I have some figures that were really hard to put together, so taking them apart all over again may do more harm then good. Any tips?
Sorry for the late reply. I think I already responded to this on discord (if that wasn't you, I'm sorry for the mistaken identity).
But --- what I did when I moved out was wrap each figure in bubble wrap and then I put them carefully on top of each other inside a big plastic box. Now, only put figures together in the box if their poses are the same. Say example, if all of them are sitting (FURYU noodle stoppers) or if all of them are standing. You can't do this to figures with a lot of extra stuff like if they have things on their bodies or they're holding something.
It's a sacrifice of time and a stretch but dynamic figures should be put back to their respective boxes. This way it won't get damaged.

i have a fake and the hair doesn't even fade to white 🥲 my mom got me it for christmas so i won't complain too much but that's like my favorite feature of the figure 😭

There's a lot of old Miku figures out for re release tho! You should check 'em out. Even the 2018 racing Miku by BANPRESTO has a new pre order open only just this week. ❤️ With better "supposedly" paint details too. Hehe

The fake i bought from an online shop named Shopee. Pretty much like Amazon or EBAY. The real one I bought during pre - order period from a figure shop named The Phantom Dibs. They all SOLD out of this figure tho. Unfortunately

Hii!! I recently got this figure and wanted to watch this vid to check if it’s a fake or not but I realised that my miku has some differences that aren’t in this video
1. The base is a clear blue with no drawings or words on it
2. the flowers in the hair are a different colour
3. the tips of the end of the braids is a kinda yellow-ish colour
But I don’t think it’s a bootleg cause most colours aren’t off, the paint job is very well done, and the ponytails don’t detach like for the bootleg, I am very confused please can someone help lol

I have not seen any other variant of Rapunzel Miku with the colours you described. Also, even if it's a different version, it's probably the same when it comes to obvious parts like the base. You most likely got a hq bootleg 🤔 or you got a version exclusively sold in Japan?
I think mines fake lmao, the hair doesn't even sit right on the arms, i think the right one isn't in the correct position
