I’ve been thinking a lot about that. Did some research and found that there are mortal stabbing wounds and there are non-lethal depending on where one is stabbed. Obviously, the faster you can get medical help the better regardless. For non-lethal, The lateral lower quadrants of the abdomen are your best bet. For mortal wounds, The right upper quadrant has the liver and the big veins from the rest of the body, the left upper quadrant has the spleen and the big abdominal arteries; the kidneys and their blood supply are deep to the intestines at about the level of the belly button. I think Paul knew this and so fought in a manner that if he was to get stabbed it would be in no-lethal areas. Once he knew he wasn’t going to be able to stop from being stabbed twice, he guided the knife to his upper shoulder area opposite of his heart, and at the same time , he hid what he was doing with his left hand to mortally stab his opponent. Remember, in part 1, he learned that from Gurney in their training scene.
This never happened in the books so it’s a mote question, they made him look weak here and did not follow the books at all, same as Alia not being born yet and killing the baron erased and Chani has now been turned into a feminist Karen……Chani in the books lived Paul and was a strong women but of course they had to twist even that smh 🤦♀️ these films are just sad to a genuine fan who has all the books…..even the later ones written by his son via notes, he does not have the skill of his father but he did his best so I can’t knock him for trying.
Imagine being able to do the mature thing and separate an adaptation from its source material. I bet you still bitch about Tom Bombadil being absent from the LOTR trilogy as well, huh?
Because as the kwisatz haderach he chose the one future out of the infinite possible futures that would result in him being injured but not mortally so, he knew it wouldn’t be fatal but the fremen did not know so to them it looked as though Paul was potentially sacrificing himself for them. Basically just another scheme to continue the narrative of him being their messiah
If he had been stabbed in that region Paul would be dead in reality without surgical intervention. The left lower abdomen is the large intestine and if he didn’t bleed out he would die of sepsis.

Feyd fell victim to "the Gurney" move.
"Look down my lord, you'd have joined me in death".
Its awesome that Paul greets Feyd the same way the Jammis greets him before his fight

May thy knife chip and chatter
Shatter is spelled with an S not a C
@@Ricky_Spanishh You completely missed the point. lol zooooooooom
this is the way
I wonder how paul survived while he was stabed by the dagger in two parts of his body(chest area and stomach area)???
You watch anything at all coming out of Hollywood, and you wonder how the hero survived…?
Because as the kwisatz haderach he chose the one future out of the infinite possible futures that would result in him being injured but not mortally so, he knew it wouldn’t be fatal but the fremen did not know so to them it looked as though Paul was potentially sacrificing himself for them. In the book bene gesserit can control bodily functions to include bleeding. Paul could literally stop himself from bleeding if he needed to.
Your guess is as good as mine. LOL I've been wondering this.
Cause his body can't take more iron.

the movies is out in 4k how is this travesty on yt?
nostalgia
Paul didnt have plot armor, he had Holy armor
