This game always rocked! I remember the first time playing it, it was at a friends birthday party at an arcade, the game was a huge hit, the second player gun is just awesome
Oh wow, I have distinct memories of playing this as a kid in a resort hotel arcade room circa like, 2002-2003, on a family vacation. My brother and I played it multiple times but I don’t think we could ever past level 2 or something 😅Could never remember what the game was called until seeing this!
Awesome pickup! Lucky and Wild is a game that's stuck in my head ever since I saw it in arcades back in the day. I didn't get to play it much since my local arcade jacked up the price per play and it was super difficult. But what a cool game idea. I'd love to see someone make a game like this in VR with wheel and VR controller support. Oh and +1 for wanting to see a follow up video when you get everything working.
I first played this at a Chuck E Cheese restaurant when I was a kid. They also had Wild Pilot, Jurassic Park, Cyber Sled, Outrunners there. Good times.
@@VideoGameEsoterica Maybe a little TOO many :D Currently want more than I should get. :D I mean, I can play them other ways, but I'm still on my arcade PCB acquisition kick. :P You warned me it would be a problem. hehehe... I actually dreamed that I found a Momoko 120% board on a trip to Japan, but it was $3000. I bought it anyway in my dream.
Interesting, currently got Suzaki 48hr in front of me and v2. It has a chip in the Keycus, IC333 custom where you show it is empty. I am trying to get them to link, well v1 x2.. struggling, will get there as there is a fault somewhere. Great that L/W, I yet to play it and I know there is a cab in the UK

Yeah it’s legit one of the most interesting 2P arcade game setups around

I love comments like these. Now go play it in MAME. Relive the memory :)

Same. I fell in love with it and every time I play it still hits
One of the very best arcade game ever 🚗🚗 I have not been able to find one yet
It’s a rare cab these days
I love idea of gun plus driving
It works perfectly in a cab. At home I still haven’t figured out the best method yet
There's nothing like getting an arcade board. The ultimate product. No compromises.
Until you have to build the custom controls
@@VideoGameEsoterica
Yes, I thought of that but didn't want to be negative.
Haha just playing
I've seen this one in person. Galloping Ghost Arcade in Brookfield, Illinois has it!
It’s such a big and awesome cab too
This board looks crazy man. Also we need a part two man. 🤙
I’ll see :) currently I have a setup planned on paper. That’s the easy part. The build is what’s hard
Learned a lot about arcade boards in this episode, fantastic stuff!!
That’s my only goal :)
Thank you for reviewing this awesome arcade game !
Happy to :)
part 2 sounds interesting
Mods are always fun if a bit hard to shoot

Good selection of games
Logan Arcade in Chicago had one last time i was there recently. So much fun
That’s a decent arcade. Kinda smells though lol
Barcade in Philly has this! So much fun
One of the best multiplayer arcade games IMO
Dual 68Ks! Multi processor arcade architecture is always interesting.
I do love a fully populated pcb haha
Show me super scaler style visuals and I take notice! One of my favorite visual tricks in gaming.
Making 2D look 3D better than PS1 era 3D looked
a ese le echaba en Los Juegos de la Ley
Excellent stuff.
I think so haha
Lucky and Wild VGE. Count me in with this gem of a title bro. 8^)
Anthony..
One of my absolute favs
Interesting! I never saw this one before. Love System 2 though. Metal Hawk, Ordyne, Phelios, etc.
Namco has a lot of classics

Haha it’s a problem. One becomes five becomes 100

Networking is never fun. Even when it’s wired up correctly half the time it doesn’t work I swear
I loved this game.
It’s a classic
@@VideoGameEsotericaTo get a racing wheel and Sinden light gun working on this would be amazing.
Wouldn’t be Sinden as it’s an analog controller for the gun but I get what you mean
Man that music almost has some Konami vibes
They have it at Galloping Ghost!
Not surprised haha. I have a mini galloping ghost right here
What a massive board😮
Now imagine having a couple dozen more this same size or bigger and having to deal with that storage 🤣
@@VideoGameEsoterica 🤣🤣 By the way, do you know if it is playable in Retroarch?😊
Hey emulates well p
@VideoGameEsoterica thank you man!😊
Any time!
Seems pretty complicated to get playing, a game with a steering wheel and gun but I bet it’s fun as hell though. Never played that game
Yeah the custom control setup I have planned is still just on paper
“Karen….roger”
Kenny Rogers
@@VideoGameEsoterica reminds me of S.C.I. Racing game. “Karen…Roger”
I know but I don’t miss an opportunity to drop a Kenny Rogers mention
MIami Vice, the game.
I’d buy that if it was an arcade board haha
Were you ‘Lucky’ when you found this out in the ‘Wild’?😏
Haha in fact I was. Got it for like 1/4 of the going rate tested working
Pray for dump mame one day 🙏🙌
It’s been dumped for forever
