Matt, that looks amaaaaazing!!! I haven't made a stew in decades! Isn't it ironic when we were first married - 49 years ago - stew was a supper staple because it didn't cost alot.....now the beef isn't affordable and so haven't had it ages!! Ah! sign of the times! Thanks for the recipe ....maybe one of these weeks the beef will be on special and we will splurge on a good old fashioned yummy stew!!

Beautifully executed and presented recipe, Matt! I bet that tasted scrumptious. I love to make stews during winter, and this is one of them. Sadly, if I am making them just for myself, I have to leave out the mushrooms. As a kid I could eat mushrooms, but took an intolerance to them in my late teens; don't know why, and I sooo miss them. I'm gonna save your recipe. Thank you for going to the trouble of making it, and I so hope you enjoyed it. :)
