Deki I guess it's not in Jon's concept to create something that goes viral, but maybe a video about some sports trip or about supercars could do the job. For the rest of it, I guess they both like a less nervous but more chilled way of making videos. Also, most people that have already subbed (including myself) like that way/style, and I guess some viral content would only bring a lot of action-hungry, hyper-nervous people to the channel which could then be disappointed with their normal content. Wanting more subs is natural for any UA-camr, but it always comes at the risk of forgetting where you come from and who you actually are.
My thoughts exactly Michael. Thankfully Jon is not prone to making click-bait, so for now we can enjoy a great channel without the spoil of annoying comments to go along with it!

Hey Jon, you passed right next to my house on the way to Banff... I live across the Olympic Ski Jumps... Entrance to the National Park is normally not free, but this year (effective Jan 1) it's free for a year to celebrate Canada's 150th Birthday... BTW, it's like -29°C... can't believe you left the airport in T-shirts LOL
Dick Tchairdjian was thinking the same, arriving in Canada in winter in T-shirts😂....and Jon says "oh its cold"😁😂
Hailey We had severe flooding in low lying areas a few years ago. No hurricanes, earthquakes or wildfires, though we are prone to hailstorms
Alberta is probably a pretty safe place... Calgary is a very new modern city, and we're luck to be close to the spectacular Rocky Mountains.... I mean, we can drive to Banff in about an hour, have dinner, catch a show at the Banff Center and drive back. Summer temperatures can reach the 30°C+ and the mountains are great for hiking and camping.... In the winter, in the years when it snows a lot, like this year, Skiing is also great. After all, We hosted the 1988 Winter Olympics (and the word is we're bidding for the next Winter Olympics), although I think that's asking for a financial disaster these days... LOL
Calgary is a very young wealthy city as well, and the climate does seem to do a good job of weeding out the whiners.
There is something special in being able to attend major World Cup events in most winter sports in your own city.

actually one of my favorite places right now is one18 right by the tower. I love my burgers and they make a great burger which I think changes weekly. I also like Bourbon old fashions and their signature old fashion is so good.. If you ever go see if they can make an ice sphere in front of you. its perfectly clear.

Oh man, I grew up in Calgary, learned to ski and ski raced around the Banff/Lake Louise area growing up. This www an awesome blog to see and recognize everything.
Too bad no one was available to meet you for a nice dinner in Banff, there are some good spots there.

I was thinking you were flying into Vancouver but then noticed you were in Calgary by the rental office and plates and roads. I just returned my rental car and flew out of Calgary to Vancouver this morning. Hope you enjoy your trip, a little cold but should be great conditions.
