Thanks, but I miss my Benny, Teddy Bear and Gracie so much. It is ridiculously hard to find available puppies in Western Canada where I live.

They eat green grass after a long winter for the vitamins! They know what they are doing!

3:15 Do they ever break into howling? Ours do all the time. They also braid the leashes like yours

Hello from Canada. I really enjoy your videos. I will be getting a Shetland Sheepdog puppy soon and was wondering about ears. Did you ever glue your puppy’s ears to get them to tip over? I see that one has prick ears and the other two are tipped. Looking at your videos, it does not seem like their ears were ever glued, but I was wondering if that is the case. My Sheltie will not be participating in dog shows, so tipped ears are not really important to me. Also, this will be my fifth dog but my first Sheltie. What’s your most important tip for raising a Sheltie puppy? Thanks. ~ Linda

Tipping the ears arent really important in daily life, people tip the ears just for the dogshows, so they have a good score in the competition.
I tried to tip Balder's ears but unfortunately I wasn't successful with it because the puppies would play a lot by biting each others ears making the glue, I was using at the time, unstick, so I decided to let Balder be the special Sheltie with prick ears. 😊
My tip on raising Shelties is to have fun with them and trained from really young, they are super intelligent, and every Sheltie is different from each other, make sure you understand their personality so when you get to train them, you know what method to use. On thing is for sure Shelties love visualization, they learn quicker when you point at something and letting them figure it out what you want from them than just saying what you want.
Have fun and a lot of happy memories with your wonderful puppy. 🧡🧡🧡🧡
