- Hey guys, I had an amazing time with these folks (Karmin) on tour this summer. They wrote this song called Acapella - and we figured it would be cool for us to 'do it acapella'.

The original was made entirely with voices actually they just edited a few parts to make them deeper or higher but it was a capella yho

Ares williams If anything is edited it's not a capella anymore. That's the whole point of a capella, that nothing is edited or changed.
The Awesome Gaming Bros By that definition, nothing Mike Tomkins (and pretty much everyone who does solo a capella like him) is actual a capella. You think he actually sing Bass (or better yet, Bass - 1 octave) without some kind of digital help? Hate to break it to you, but most a capella groups now use some kind of digital assistance on their recordings (and sometimes even live). Regardless, it's still great and fun to listen to.
