For the price and inconvenience to trim the one still seems like a good buy. You can easily get any hardware you need from most car part stores to replace the plastic ones.
My Husky liners when in my PowerBoost with no fitment issues. I was impressed that all the holes lined up so well. The liners I got cleared the shock better. Happy with my purchase from Amazon, got them on Prime Day for $100.00
The Ford ones do not go down that much, and end where u put in 2 screws in frame, so actually you are getting more coverage. Slightly trim the access and all good. But the installation and fitment on OEM is 10/10 and is actually easier than what u have faced.
Bought mine in march last year. I have a 2022 xlt fx4 in graphite just like yours. I had to take a razor blade and trim them to clear the shock as well. I also swapped all the Christmas trees for hardware from Lowes
I just installed my wheel well liners on 2023 Ford F150 a week ago. I said the exact same things you said about the hardware and the piece touching the shock absorber. It just seems like their should of been stronger fasteners. The drivers side seems to be looser than the passenger side so I might take a self taping screw to the very top of the liner to fix that. Thanks for the video.
Rough country makes them as well . Husky runs $150 thru husky atleast. Rough country's run $100. Waiting for my flares to get painted before installing both.
I just got my 22 Lariat Powerboost last week after waiting 6 months, but hey, it's here so let the upgrades begin. I just ordered my Husky wheel well liners and will see if there are the same concerns and let everyone know. I know it's off topic but I did notice in your video that you had a much shorter antenna on your truck than the stock one. Can you tell me what brand it is and whether the reception is still good and whether or not it whistles when at speed on the interstate ?
Ha!- I thought my truck was sewn together and was coming unstitched when I first saw the cord hanging down below the gas door on my 2022 Lariat Powerboost. Buy a magnet with a loop eye - tie the end of the chord to the magnet and attach to the inside of the wheel well. Hopefully the fuel door auto release will never malfunction. Good to know that there is a bypass if it should!

I had the same fitment issues with my 2021 F150 XLT. I had to trim to fit.
They add some protection to the non aluminum frame and make cleaning the truck easy. Worth it IMO

Amazon site Q&A indicate some boxes were mislabeled, request to get in touch with Husky for replacement
Had the exact same issues. …looks great…but they did not just fall in place.

You Named ever reason why I bought Factory Wheel Liners... 2021 XLT Powerboost
How did you deal with the manual gas cap pull cord?

They must be awful easy to install, I don't even see a toolbox in your spic & span garage.
