Thank you for all the effort you put into these videos. I guess it’s a pretty niche area, but you have a criminally low view count for the value you provide. If I ever need professional prints, you definitely have my business.
Hey Matt, I realize this video took you an entire day to make, but I want you to know how much I appreciate each step you went through! Have you made any updates to your process? I’ll continue to look through your videos to see if it’s changed. Again, thank you so much for this truly expert content!
Great video! Thanks for taking the time to make it. So, after watching the whole thing, I have come to the conclusion that the thing to do is just to print on the inkjet. :D
This is super helpful, I’m just getting into printing digital negatives for platinum printing. Thanks for sharing all of this great info! 🙏 side note, do you print digital negatives as a service?
Hi Matt, thanks for the video. Just one question: What if you happen to only quickly convert the images into a negative without fiddling with curves, and instead work on the contrast of the paper and using dodging and burning techniques while exposing the paper? Wouldn't you achieve the same desired results?
@@HiddenLight So it would be practically rely on what anyone would do with traditional darkroom printing techniques with the only difference that instead of projecting the negative, you'd work as you would with a contact sheet. I find your videos very informative and thorough, so thank you for doing this!!
I know it’s 9 months later BUT! In these kinds of WONDERFUL tuts…please hold all the pertinent images/strips/etc up to the camera for a couple seconds so we can see what you are seeing!
Thank you! This is great tutorial for someone like myself who is wanting to start down this path.
Last batch of prints I basically half-sassed the processed and got okay results. Now I know why. Awesome video! Thanks!!
Matt, your channel is super awesome. I am a great Fan my friend. Keep them coming. :)

More than welcome!
Thanks really useful. But why did you use Grade 5 Ilford and not 2 or something? Was that for demo purposes?

Very interesting thank you so much. But may I ask you on what kind of material do you print the negativ?

You can achieve something very similar, the only BIG difference is that you'll have to repeat the process for every single image!
